How important is to take a break. - Bangkok/ Thailand
Today I've been thinking about how important is to make small trips to remember why you're alive... I spent a weekend in Bangkok and it was sooooooooo good for my mental health.
First of all: If you don't know, I'm vegetarian so I would go back as soon as possible to try more vegetarian and vegan food because the restaurants that I've been wasn't that great. I believe the more I travel more I see that trying different food and flavours is also my thing, before I wasn't a fan of focusing my trip on food.
So before you go, wherever you are going, if food is important for you, make your research. It will save you a lot of troubles.
Second tip: Culture is everything! Always put some time to study the city and the culture, you can visit museums and temples if they have. All the temples I've been in Bangkok were incredible!! I would recommend you to go to the Wat Pho and expend at least some hours discovering the temple and enjoying the vibe. I sear it is incredible!
Wat Pho is one of the oldest temples in Thailand and it has the famous statue of a Reclining Buddha but it isn't only that! The temple is enormous and for sure you will be able to see a lot of cats around. I had a chat with one of the monks who told me that there's about 50 cats that love to stay close to them (and of course to receive some treats from the monks).
The Reclining Buddha is 46 meters (150 feet) long and 15 meters (50 feet) high. It's breathtaking!
Just a few of the cats hahaha they are in love with the monks and most of them are very friendly.
The post was a bit about Bangkok but I would hardly recommend a short break from the day to day routine for you to energise yourself and come back new.
Hope you've enjoyed!
All the best,
Ana.

Different perspectives about life - POV travelling
I would love to tell you that after a few months I finally found MY way to communicate without having to ask any AI to approve my content (and being confident about it).
As you probably know I am Brazilian and as much as I wanted to, English will never be my first language. So I would like to apologise for making grammar mistakes, for having an accent and for also not getting all of your jokes.
The truth is: I want to show you a world that I am discovering (even though I have been in 20+ countries, I believe there's a lot more to discover) and I want to show it from my point of view. Not like any other blog that only shows what is on hype or places you're tired of reading about.
My favorite way to travel is to truly connect with places and people that normally you can't have from a regular trip. The places I've been always had so much to contribute with my self discovery process and I had so much to learn from it.
And it has nothing to do with the discuss of going on a trip for shopping or not shopping. You can definitely go on a trip for doing it (as I also did for a few times in USA). It is about not being stuck in famous attractions (but don't forget to spend some time in famous attractions if that's what you want to do!) but building truly and meaningfull connections, because when you let yourself connect with the place you are, you can deeply understand the culture and that's when you grow.
Travelling is all about growing. Is about seeing the world from a different perspective. Is about live life meaningfully and challenging yourself with different point of views.
Believe me or not, when you are open for life, life will be open for you. Listen carefully and you will understand how important is to build real connections and how possible it is when you're open.
When I travel I try my best to connect with people as much as being a woman or even for a solo traveler can be challenging (or worse when you're both), and I can asure you: I have many friends from so many countries that if I ever need, I know I can count on them. They are always inviting me to their houses to stay whenever I go back. And that's the most incredible gift travelling ever gave me, my friends, good laughs, a story to tell, different perspectives, somewhere to go back and people to count on.
So next time you're on vacation, try to spend some time connecting with people. There's so many ways to do it, but my favorite is just talking with whoever shows up, it can be in a cafe, in your hostel or hotel, somewhere you feel safe, or you can also use those websites where you can have a dinner with strangers (Timeleft or The First Round seems to be very interesting even though I have never used it), whatever works for you or appears to you. But don't forget: "when you smile to life, life smiles back to you."
Have a wonderfull day,
All the best,
Ana <3

Airalo code :)
We know how stressful having internet in different countries can be. That's why I always use AirAlo eSIM as my first option for having data signal.
You can install the eSIM before leaving the country you're currently in or install it while you're connected to a wifi (at the airport for exemple).
Always do it when you have a bit of time as it can take a few moments to download and complete to install.

My 3 Favorite Beaches in Sydney
Wishing you a beautiful and vibrant life! In todayâs post, Iâm taking you along one of the most beloved activities for Brazilians (and honestly, for anyone who enjoys a good day out): going to the beach and soaking in the beauty of nature.
Even though Iâm not the type to play beach volleyball or football like many Brazilians do, I love spending time swimming, sunbathing, and simply being present. Iâve been living in Sydney for less than a year, and one of the biggest gifts has been experiencing summer near some of the most stunning beaches in the south of the city.
Before settling in Sydney, I used to work on cruise ships, which gave me short glimpses of the city. Now, I finally get to dive deeper into its wonders. Australia is world-famous for its beachesâbut if you're like me and prefer peaceful, lesser-known spots where you can truly connect with yourself and the ocean, then stick with me as I share my top 3 favorite beaches around Sydney.
đ Little Bay
Little Bay is a hidden gem. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwindâaway from the crowds of Bondi or Manlyâthis is your spot. Although it's a bit further from the city center (about 30 minutes by car or longer via public transport), every second spent getting there is absolutely worth it.
This beach consistently ranks as one of the cleanest in Sydney, with clear water and low bacteria levels, according to the NSW Environment website.
Fun fact: the name Little Bay comes from its size compared to nearby Long Bay. It used to be called Yarra Junction, but residents requested a name change because mail kept getting sent to the town of the same name in Melbourne!
Some websites still say there are no facilities here, but thatâs outdated infoâLittle Bay now has toilets and lifeguards. Itâs not a surfing or boating beach, which keeps it peaceful. However, rock fishing is quite popular along the surrounding cliffs.
đ¨ One thing to keep in mind: thereâs usually no phone signal here (at least not with Vodafone⌠or maybe itâs just my phone! đ). To get to the beach, youâll pass through a golf course and take some stairs downâjust follow the signs, itâs pretty easy.
âď¸ My favorite time to visit? Sunrise. My perfect morning routine is watching the sun come up from the hill near the church, then heading down for a refreshing dip in the ocean.
đż Malabar Beach
Malabar is another calm and peaceful beach that's easy to reach. It's around the same distance from the city as Little Bay. Parking can be a little tricky, but since it doesnât attract the same crowds as Bondi or Manly, youâll usually find a spot along the street without too much trouble.
Â
Malabar Beach has an interesting maritime past, with the area being named after the MV Malabar, a ship that ran aground nearby in 1931. While itâs now known for its serene atmosphere and beautiful coastal views, the beach was once an important site for maritime activities. The surrounding area also has a rich Aboriginal history, with evidence of the Cadigal people who once lived along the coastline. Over time, Malabar evolved from a remote beach into the peaceful, charming spot we enjoy today, offering a blend of natural beauty and local history.
What makes Malabar extra special for me is the coastal walk from Maroubra to Malabar. Itâs shorter and less busy than the famous CoogeeâBondi walk, but the views are just as beautifulâif not more. After a scenic walk, I love cooling off with a swim at Malabar Beach. Thereâs also a public ocean pool, which is a typical feature on Australian beaches, and totally worth trying!
đ La Perouse
If youâre a sunset lover like me, La Perouse is the place to be. It offers the best sunset views in Sydney, in my opinion. đ
La Perouse is named after the French explorer Jean-François de Galaup, comte de LapÊrouse, who arrived in Botany Bay just days after Captain Arthur Phillip in 1788. The area holds deep historical significance, including stories of hardship and resilience.
A bit of its tough past: when European settlers pushed Aboriginal communities out, La Perouse became one of the few places where they could live. At first, they could fish and sell what they caught, but later restrictions limited them to fishing only for personal use. Isolated from the city, the community endured many challenges. If you're interested in learning more, I recommend checking out this article!
Despite its past, La Perouse is one of my favorite places because it symbolizes transformation. While it's important to acknowledge history, being in nature reminds us that we can create new, beautiful memories. Watching the sunset hereâseeing couples taking photos, families smiling, and even pregnant women having maternity shootsâit fills me with hope. Itâs a gentle reminder that the future can be brighter, as long as we keep doing our best, together.
