I had some weird issue with the website for a while, so when I finished this page a couple weeks ago I had to put it up on my portfolio site! But it’s all good now.

I meant to add a light source inside the house but I forgot!! Please just imagine there’s a little lantern in the middle of the room.

“Chakli” means bird, and “gar” means home! Together, “Chaklinagar” translates to “home of birds”.

On a totally different note, I started a Patreon recently! It’s a pretty chill setup - I’m thinking of it as a tip jar for the comic, sort of. Check it out if you like Travelogue and want to support it financially! <3

Today is the first anniversary of Travelogue! Thank you so much for reading and enjoying my comic this past year. I started drawing it just for fun and practice, but it’s been going places I never thought it would. Travelogue is small in scale and slow-paced, and extremely self-indulgent, and I’m constantly delighted that there are people who enjoy stories like that as much as I do. I’m really looking forward to drawing more comics in 2016 and I hope you’re looking forward to reading them!! Happy New Year!!

We’re back! Thanks for waiting! I had a little break and I feel good. I’ve been at a lot of comic shows in the past few months and I met a bunch of super cute Travelogue readers! Thank you so much for coming by and saying hello. I’ve restocked minicomics in my store, if you were interested in one and couldn’t make it out to a con!

I moved recently and I feel like the tone of these past few strips reflects that pretty obviously >u>

The other day I went outside and sat on my porch swing for the first time in forever, and got really emotional about sunlight, and then I wrote this strip. THE PROCESS

Thanks to my sweet friends Hannah and Ensley for input on this one! The idea for this strip (and the design for Emerene’s sword!) came from a fantastic piece of fanart that Ensley drew for me :3

TCAF was a really nice time!! I had a blast walking around and talking and trading - I hope I can table there next year.

Sometimes you feel like doing a big frilly splash page and you just gotta act on that impulse!!

Fun fact: Nana’s hair is waterproof!
