MODERN FAMILYĀ ( 2009 - 2020 ) ā³ GLORIA DELGADO-PRITCHETT
Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham.
So why did Deena get a nose bleed prior to tossing the water thingy off of the bus in FS 1994? This was prior to any disturbing of the bones. āBlood will fall when the witch is nearā - so was that just because Deena/the bus was close to Sarah Fierās grave at that point? If so, why didnāt other people get nose bleeds then?
Unexpected awesomeness of FS 1666:
- shows how a guy who is nice to you specifically but doesnāt extend that kindness to anything or anyone else is not good for you. Observe how someone treats others as much as how they treat you. Nick Goode was rubbish in all three movies.
- the red moss didnāt grow below the hanging tree, but around the rock where Sarah and Hannah kissed. We are not defined by our worst moments, but by our best. Not by acts of hate, but by our love.
- all three movies were about girls peeling back all the pretension to learn who they truly are. Sam stopped running away from herself to choose Deena. Cindy stopped pretending everythingās fine to choose to be there for the people she loved (Alice, Ziggy). Sarah went from hesitantly (āthis is wrongā) loving her girl in the dark to wanting to kiss her in the daylight.
Rewatching FS 1994 and when Nick Goode tells Sam āyou look like youāve come back from the deadā he knew what must have happened. Ziggy had come back from the dead because he had liked her and had made a deal of some sort. Contrast to Deena saving Sam with just her love and conviction. Nick was already calculating his next move to add Samās name to the list. He knew Deena, Josh and Sam knew too much.
I may have missed this from all the times I was hiding in my friendās jacket throughout the three movies, but why was Deena spraying herself with cK perfume (oh so 90ās!)? Was it to throw off the killers? If so, when was smell established as a tracking device by killers?
Sigh. I just wanted a sweet Indian wlw in the new Netflix Ajeeb Dastaans short form story entitled āGeeli Pucchiā (Wet Kisses, starts at 1:05).
Instead, I get two incredible actresses, a class (and significantly caste) difference story between two women ripping my whole heart out.
Has anyone else seen the movie Pagglait on Netflix yet? There I was innocently texting during a Bollywood film with my friends over spring break and the GAY just pummeled me. Maybe Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and the Veronica/Alex relationship in The Pier (El Embarcadero) has just fine-tuned my gaydar, but how do you ignore these looks between these two women and the absolutely romantic song that is playing in the background about becoming less of strangers, happier more than ever before and just rediscovering love and life? Like I cannot ā watch this and confirm Iām not delusional:

I mean this movie was about feeling loss and opening up to a new love. Tell me Akanksha isnāt the one Sandhya is fully in love with from the moment she first saw her photo. She carries that photo around for the WHOLE damn film, I might add.

Okay, so what is going on with the Latino vote? With all of Trumpās ugly rhetoric aimed at minorities, why isnāt the Latino vote in the high 80s like black youth voters? I feel like Iām missing something? š¤

Violaās reactions the first time Dani eats a cheeseburger after Bly
(from the spectres vain - nsfw link)
April and Sterling + tumblr text posts (and whatever else I wanted to use, because I can)
āI feel her...in here. So quiet. And this part of her thatās in here is...it isnāt peaceful. Itās rage. This angry, empty, lonely beast. Itās watching me, matching my movements, and itās waiting. Sheās waiting.ā - Dani speaking of Viola, 2x09
So, I need a fic in which Viola coexists with Dani as she starts her new life, one day at a time, with Jamie. Because we know that Dani will subdue this ābeastā in time. Even though they are destined for the bottom of the lake, Viola will never take anyone else again.
And the waiting...well Jamie and Dani will be together for years. Surely, a sophisticated, witty lady from another century will have snarky comments to make about Daniās sweeter ways? What Iām saying is I want a comedy about two soft soulmates and a beastie who has no choice but to third wheel them and not get her way for a long long time. Who wants to give me this?
