What do I mean when I say “I’m open to other opinions”
I’m open to other opinions.
Let me clarify that, because appearently doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people of different religions than me.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people who have different economical views. Because guess what, capitalism and communism AREN’T THE ONLY CHOICES and people have died because of BOTH.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people who have different opinions of how we should use our taxes.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people who have different perspectives on gun control.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people who have different views on the use of power.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people who have different ideas on how to make change happen.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people who have different ideas on how to fix our debt issue.
When I say I’m open to other opinions, I mean I’m open to people who have different ideas on how to deal with international relations.
These are all debatable issues that currently have no known correct answer. What I DON’T mean when I say “I’m open to other opinions” is that I’m open to bigotry.
If you think rape is okay or the victims fault, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think men can’t be raped, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think gay people are disgusting and unnatural, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think people of non-hetero and non-homo sexualities aren’t valid, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think trans men are women or trans women are men, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think there are only two genders, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think poc are shitty degenerates, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think women are lesser, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think people of other religions are filth, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think people WITH religion are stupid, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think it’s okay to say slurs, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think people with a disability are a burden, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think that because people don’t LOOK like they have a disability that then they don’t really have one, guess what? Fuck you!
If you discriminate against people for being sexually active, guess what? Fuck you!
If you discriminate against people for not being sexually active, guess what? Fuck you!
If you think pedophilia is okay, guess what? Fuck you!
If you say people’s HARMLESS activities that they use therapeutically is wrong or disgusting, guess what? Fuck you!
Basically, if you think it’s okay to not treat every human with the same common decency you treat EVERY HUMAN or believe some people don’t deserve the same rights as you, guess what? Fuck you!
Yes, I’m going to judge you for your “political” views. Because your political views show your morals and values, which show who you are as a person.
I’m open to other opinions, but I’m not debating human fucking rights.
