Albedo was glad to see that the little one was at ease as he softly nodded, offering a small smile before replying as he chuckled to Littlefoot’s attempt to say the word ‘alchemist’ as it reminded him of his little sister Klee when she was forming words growing up.

“It’s very nice to meet you Littlefoot and my workshop isn’t far as its just up this trail here, if you’re cold, I have some spare blankets and a campfire lit as it’ll be getting dark out soon. Best to stay indoors when nightfall comes, you never know what may be out roaming.”

He replied as he wished to see them safe and away from any form of danger, he made sure to take some berries with him in case they get hungry.

      just knowing that he would be safe and somewhere that was warm? oh he was ready to see this home of the human’s.

           “i’ve never been indoors before..what’s it like?” he was curious as to what all these words were, but for now as he looked up as the bright circle was starting to fall from the sky, he knew what dark was, his grandparents taught him those words. “what’s blankets? what’s a campfire?” he had so many questions, he only hoped that he wouldn’t get too annoying towards the other.

Albedo was amazed by the words as he didn’t realize the other can speak his language, he tilted his head slightly to them as he understood their reaction to back up as he then spoke softly.

“You’re near the mountain of Dragonspine in the world of Teyvat and I completely understand your reasoning for backing away as I’m a stranger to you, my name is Albedo and I’m the Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius where I’m from. My workshop isn’t far from here if you wish to get out from the cold and away from any sort of danger, it may not be much but its safer than out here.”

He remained calm and soft spoken as he was trying to calm their fears away, he knew how it was like when he first ventured the world as it can hold many secrets as well as many dangers.

     those were a lot of words that he didn’t know, but he heard that wherever this human was from was safe from the monsters that lingered around, and because of that, littlefoot’s leg stopped backtracking.

            “i would like to go there, if it’s safe.” he was already starting to make actual sentences, now that he was getting use to the other. “i don’t know what an...al-chem....al-chem....alchem is.” he wasn’t about to try to get that word right, so he thought it easier to shorten it. “but..my name is littlefoot.”

“Well, this is just great. We finally made it off that island, we were finally on our way home, and what happens? We get attacked by the Mosasaurus and lost our boat,” said Brooklynn as she looks around along the shore of this island she’s on…alone.

“And the worst part is…the others aren’t here,” Brooklynn knows they’re alive, but during the attack, she got separated and found herself on this other island near the one the others are on.

She knows this because the debris she was on took her away from the others. Oh sure she could try swimming back to the others…only she didn’t want to be eaten by a shark or swallowed whole by the Mosasaurus.

“So, here I am. All alone…without my friends,” said Brooklynn as she felt the fear of being isolated from everyone now sitting in.

     he was use to human’s on the island, they had to replenish the food for the carnivores somehow, but he hadn’t seen them in so long that he thought they were at the other island now, leaving him and the other’s to fend for themselves.

     so when he smelled a new scent on the island, he was full of curiosity as he made his way over to where the teenager was. she looked distraught, and because of that littlefoot wasn’t sure if he should even get closer to where she was brooding.

     so, for now, he would let out a soft cry to show that he was here, and if she greeted him with hostility, he would make a dash for it.

Albedo could tell right away that the creature was frightened as he knew that it must be scary being alone, he didn’t want them to run away as he gently rolled a small branch with some berries on it out to them as he then slowly rose from the foliage. 

He extended his right hand as he softly spoke, the tone in his voice gentle.

“Shh…It’s alright, I mean you no harm little one as I’m not a enemy. Are you lost?”

     though the stranger said that he wasn’t going to harm him, littlefoot couldn’t help but let a foot back up--but when he showed him a bushel of berries being lowered to him. okay..maybe this wouldn’t be so bad..he could do this.

     right?

     so, as his head lifted to the berries, he would nod his head at the question of being lost.

          “i don’t know where..i am..”

In this dangerous landscape lived a alchemist who mostly stayed in his workshop working on experiments with potions and such, he went by the name Albedo. As Albedo was working, he heard a small noise coming from the entrance as it didn’t sound like a monster. 

He set his supplies aside before slowly walking over towards the entrance, peering out as he made his way down the mountainside. 

He suddenly noticed something out of the ordinary as he stayed in the foliage nearby, not to scare the creature away as he never seen anything quite like this.

His overwhelming curiosity got to him as he quietly took out his sketchpad, sketching what he was seeing in front of him as he remained silent.

     though albedo didn’t mean to startle him, littlefoot’s ears were strong when it came to hearing things around him. they had to be with the carnivores that he had to deal with back where he was from.so, when the slightest foot fell down on the ground, the young dinosaur’s head was already rose into the air.

     his feet weren’t about to leave just yet, but he was ready to run at any time just to stay alive, the fear was in his eyes as well, but he was still hungry as he leaned back down to take another berries into his maw.

     this place wasn’t like the great valley, there were many dangers here but also the new smells that lingered--they intrigued the young apatosaurus as he followed his nose and it led him to a patch of wild berries.

     and they were sweet! he’d definitely like it here as long as he stayed away from the monsters that seemed to be around every corner.

     winter was something that littlefoot wasn’t use to, it was screwing with his body, so when the canine had found him almost frozen in the snow, the young apatosaurus didn’t even have the strength to fight back. he just wanted to be saved. 

     after passing out though, the young dinosaur began to open his eyes to warmth around him and for that he was questioning something in his mind.
