i’m gonna try my best to get a masterlist update done tomorrow and finish linking snw season one caps on the carrd! in the meantime HERE’S the post with info about the masterlist. as always, feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, requests, etc. and one of us will get back to you asap!
HOLODECK STYLE STARTERS & DRABBLE PROMPTS. these prompts are not only limited to trek verses, they can also be used as LARPing prompts for your muses — or even AU ideas. trigger warnings for: violence, mentions of sex, blood, death, crime
[ GREASE ] the sender and receiver fell in love in the summer of 1958. when the summer ends, there’s an anxiety that they’d never meet again and the sender promises that their love is “only just the beginning”. receiver enrols at rydell and sees their love again but little do they realize that they stepped into a world of greaser gangs — one, lead by the sender too! — politics, teachers, and well ... grades? — oh phewy! what to do?!
[ HAMLET ] sender, is a commoner who went to university with the receiver, who happens to be the prince(ss) of denmark. the two of you are very close friends and are content with being just students in wittenberg, germany until one day the sender sees the ghost of the receiver’s father. with the receiver’s position as heir threatened, their mother now betrothed to their uncle — what will the two ever do?!
[ HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE ] receiver, a young milliner and eldest of three sisters, encounters the sender, who is a wizard on their way to visit their sister lettie. upon returning home, they meets the witch of the waste, who transforms them into a ninety-year-old being. seeking to break the curse, the receiver leaves home and sets off through the countryside. somehow, they stumble into the sender’s magical house, castle, contraption thing — how is the receiver ever gonna break their curse?!
[ KIKI’S DELIVERY SERVICE ] sender and receiver are both trainee witches who just left home with their respective black cats. they both end up at a small town by the sea. now, with a quest to complete their training, the two witches must figure out a way to use their powers effectively.
[ OCEAN’S EIGHT ] the sender, recently came out of prison after a prolonged sentence. they come to gather their former team for one more big heist at the MET gala. the sender comes to the receiver with an offer for their unique expertise — will you say yes to being filthy rich or be boring and say no?
[ TITANIC ] the sender and the receiver are on the HMS titanic during the 1920′s. there’s food! booze! gambling and so much more. it’s everything a luxury cruise could offer — but there’s always a catch. don’t let the iceberg hit you on your way out.
[ YOUR NAME ] the receiver lives in a rural part of the country. bored out of their mind, they wished to be a city folk. one day, they wake up in the body of the sender, who lives in the city. some days they wake up in each other’s bodies, having to go through the day-to-day motions as one another and eventually figure out that they can communicate with one another through text messages.

STAR TREK: WRATH OF THE PROPHETS dialogue starters from wrath of the prophets by peter david, michael jan friedman, & robert greenberger
watch out, that boulder is falling on you!
would you please stop that damned whistling?
you’re doing this deliberately to irritate me, aren’t you?
no, i’m doing it to amuse myself. irritating you is just a side benefit.
well, i hope you’re amused.
actually, it’s had to determine what’s more amusing- your irritation or your holier-than-thou attitude
all right. if you like. i couldn’t watch us act like sheep, always turning the other cheek.
but then, you had to be here to see that.
come on, let’s go.
drop dead.
i’ve no immediate plans to do so
i not making myself sufficiently clear?
you take the lead. you be in charge, you satisfy your ego and your desire to run the show. i’ll be right behind you, applauding your every move.
you’re impossible.
problem, [insert name / title] ?
of course there’s a problem. what are you, blind? i’m in a pit, for crying out loud!
yes, so i see.
you know, as i recall, someone said to leave everything to them. ‘don’t try to help me,’ they said. now who was that? i wonder, i wonder...
you know, [insert name] ... you’re really starting to get on my nerves.
once upon a time, that was endearing. now it’s just tedious.
maybe i expected too much.
i thought i could look to someone i admired to do the right thing, not out of self-aggrandizement, not out of self-enrichment, but simply because it was right.
well, this has been enchanting. truly.
maybe you were right.
what kind of deity would consider slaughtering innocents because of what they might become in the future?
what happens to free will?
you want to know something?
looking like an idiot is one thing, but being an idiot is something else.
i’m not sure if i’m supposed to take that as a compliment or not.
you don’t hear me laughing.
you signed on with me, so your time is mine to waste.
you know, i’m getting pretty damned sick of you.
i’m getting sick of your constant whining over how nothing and nobody from your checkered past is as good as you remember.
i’m sick of your overbearing overconfidence.
i’m sick of the way you look at me...
and how do i look at you, precisely?
like i’m not good enough to be working with you.
you think you can do better?
how sweet of you to care.
if you don’t have anything intelligent to say, just keep your mouth shut.
since when have we been together in this?
looking to me for a decision? i’m honored.
this is beginning to frighten me a little
you certainly took your sweet time
god, look at you.
do you have any idea how annoying you are?
my god, [insert name], you look like you’ve been through a war.
you’ve got to be kidding.
believe in whatever you want to believe in. me, i know the truth- and that’s all that matters.
you thank me and not [insert pronoun] . why is that?
i want you to acknowledge that i would likely be dead if it weren’t for [insert pronoun]. unless that doesn’t matter to you, either.
those things you said about me- did you mean all that, or was it just to annoy those sanctimonious twits?
watch your back, okay?
actually, i was planning on blaming it all on you.
so i’m your scapegoat?
fine. i’ll... er, go to bat for you.

some basic rules and what we do under the cut!
STAR TREK: SPOCK VS. Q dialogue starters from star trek: spock vs. q by cecelia fannon.
you humans are so emotional.
the subject matter is not exactly fascinating.
the favorite topics in this order are: sex, political scandal, sex, and sports.
highly illogical. this is mere distraction.
certainly copernicus and galileo had interests beyond “getting in touch with themselves”.
they were truly enterprising voyagers.
you have the ability to do something much more effective.
naughty, naughty, naughty. you know you’re not supposed to tell.
i beg your pardon.
we haven’t even met and you’re begging my pardon. that’s delightful!
so accommodating. so … spockian.
you appear to know me, however, i do not believe we’ve met. i’m quite sure i would remember.
i believe the correct human response would be to say "charmed". however, i am not “charmed”.
everyone says that.
i’m occupied in a matter of some urgency here and you are interrupting.
i know i’m interrupting and you’ll thank me for it later.
can i have an autograph?
look, i just want your autograph, (name), i mean, what are you desperately trying to say?
autographs have proved to be of great value.
your point?
there’s a sizable demand you’ll have to join the end of the line.
it’s so good to meet someone with ego strength.
not every day a nonhuman signs his name, kind of like getting your dog, sparky, to write a thank you note.
my errand here is a matter of some urgency.
do whatever it is you’ve come to here to do at some other, more appropriate, time.
you have a tendency to monopolize the stage.
do you have a point?
ouch! whew! felt that.
my full name is two lightyears long.
explaining cold fusion would be easier.
why don’t you just give your speech, act like i’m not here.
that would be impossible.
in a popular phrase of the era: “yadda, yadda, yadda.”
thank you for that.
not exactly what i call heartfelt.
in the future, try hallmark.
you’re still here.
why, you want me to go?
there is something poignant in early leave - taking.
that does it. i’m definitely staying.
i’ve got gobs of time!
what must it be like being you?
would you really like to know?
modesty, then, is not a virtue in the continuum.
do you ever have fun?
what gives you a good belly laugh? i’d love to know.
where are the laughs, bro?
how deeply zen of you.
what did the zen master say to the hot dog vendor? “one with everything.”
do you suppose i might return to a weightier topic?
be careful, my humorless friend.
it’s a drag.
those guys give new meaning to the word “grim”.
what’d you say?
i dare you, make a cosmic joke. try.
the universe is very “gassy”.
who are you to pass judgment on their attraction to sleaze and scandal?
it makes for great stand-up and sells oodles of magazines.
you think that telling jokes is a good way for humans to deal with their problems?
humans cannot afford to be apathetic.
why can’t they just be in the moment?
don’t be so literal.
really? i’m all ears.
