Darling Bee, it's hard to find the words. you were so talented, kind, intelligent. the only true free spirit I've ever met. no one could dampen your mood, no one could tell you you were wrong, at such a young age you knew so much and felt so strongly about the world. I think the hardest thing is that I feel like I've been slowly losing you for years, so this doesn't even seem real. it had been so long since we connected, but when we did, you molded me into the person I am now. I always envied your iridescence, you dazzled each person you met. endlessly carefree. you were so complex that you sometimes suffered too much for such a young person. still, you were gentle and kind to everyone no matter what you were feeling. intricately flawed, you were an open book. I am so lucky to have been changed by you. I didn't know you recently, but I know who you were and she was unlike anyone who will ever be. I will remember you as the scatterbrain wearing three different patterns, yelling in the streets and singing pink floyd until we had to go home. and I won't ever forget how you would ask "how are you?" in the most genuine way, through a warm smile with emphasis on "are". you were the only person who could ask such a mundane question and make it comforting and honest. your art was raw and beautiful. I don't know what we did to deserve you, but no one will ever match you. I love you bee, always and forever.
