So… I got the Audiobook for Swordspoint. It had been a WHILE since I’d read it but the audio book pretty much rocked my face and all I could think of while I was at work listening to Ellen Kushner describe Alec’s cheekbones over and over again was how much I needed to be drawing these two. So this happened.

RIVERSIDE. SWORDSMEN. GAMBLERS. RAKES. WOMEN NO BETTER THAN THEY OUGHT TO BE (I always loved this euphemism: seriously, WTF? How good ought they to be? Is this an Eve in the Garden reference? Because in my mind women are PRETTY FUCKING FABULOUS, which means Riverside is FULL OF AWESOME). KISS EVERYBODY (but only if they want you to, or you’ll get STABBED IN THE FACE).
