Invincible Season 5: here we go again with emotional damage
So… Invincible Season 5 is coming eventually and I already feel emotionally unprepared 😭
This show has been on a steady path of:
“cool superhero story” → “holy crap that was dark” → “why do I feel emotionally destroyed”
And honestly? I expect Season 5 to continue that trend.
Mark Grayson is out here trying his best to be a hero, but life keeps throwing him into situations that are way above “normal superhero problems.” Between his father’s legacy, the Viltrumite chaos, and everything he keeps getting dragged into… it’s kind of impossible not to wonder when (or if) things will ever calm down for him.
What I love about Invincible is that it doesn’t just rely on action. It actually makes you sit with the consequences. The fights hit hard, but the emotional aftermath hits even harder.
So yeah, Season 5? I’m excited… but also scared.
Because at this point, “peaceful life for Mark” feels like a joke the universe keeps refusing to let happen.
