I love these two ❤️
hand placement????hello?!?
which could mean nothing.
Today, The Urbz turns 20 years old!
Giuseppi Mezzoalto brought his poppa's famous strawberry tiramisù to the party.
Incidentally, @ritabuuk and I have a recipe for the strawberry tiramisù over at our Giuseppi fansite, if you want to try making it yourself :D
I never even heard of these games and assumed, like most ports, it'd just be a similar game but with "worse" graphics and less customization (I liked to get skins online based on characters from my fandoms special interests and have them in my game... same thing I do with dress-ups. ^^;), I didn't know they had their own unique characters and storylines! The numbering is all wrong, oof, it's a wonder anyone played these or followed any story at all...
I played the first of these games (Bustin' Out) back when it was new in 2003, because a friend recommended it to me. (Not sure how she knew of it). We fanned a lot about it, but the news of the sequel(s) did not reach her or me at the time, even though we would have absolutely wanted to play them... and that should tell you something all by itself, lol. And 5-ish years ago when I looked these games up again, it was all by itself an adventure to figure out that the series is technically made of four games, two of which are called The Sims 2. We wrote about this exact topic in our introduction page in the fansite: actually yeah, how did ANYONE on planet earth know these were unique games worth playing?! Which is a shame, because The Urbz in particular is absolutely fantastic, and I will never cease to sing my praises to everything about it - the characters, the writing, the plot, the general flow of the game, the adorable pixel art world, everything.
I drew these guys from the sims Urbz handheld. Younger versions cuz I was drawing lots of 80s themed characters.
Ewan Whatahmee and Dusty Hogg!! Maybe they’ll build that race track one day!
some details i really like from hot fuzz :-]
nicholas as a kid.........
the team's personal tastes in tea and coffee
this face nicholas makes when he's being touched which makes you appreciate even more how comfortable he is with danny later in the movie
two classics: the c word being the only swear word that's not censured and the white board in the background describing tony fisher
angel's pen is the only blue one !
i know that the spanish shaun of the dead dvd is a pretty known easter egg, but i'd like to point out that the sticker is conveniently placed on simon's face lol
aaaand nicholas being discreetly interested in danny's flipbook animation
there's probably morre but these were the first that came to mind
Mission: Impossible is THE franchise
never really appreciated how andy just body slams him onto the floor lol

loadza garys
