Why do you like knives?

"Because I'm good with them. There's a difference between kitchen knives and daggers, but there's enough transferrable skill there that it really made a difference when I needed to figure out how to defend myself after already having some idea of how to feed myself. Most knives have magnetic properties, which makes them easier to sense and control- almost like an extension of myself."

"Stew, probably. You can really transform just about any kind of ingredient into part of something to your taste that's filling and nutritious. ...And it's fun to get everything chopped up for it."

"Choose between them for what? Who's behind the trigger, and why?"

"...It's not bad, I'm good with sticking around for now."

What's your favorite thing about Zion or something he does?

"The way he notices things, and then really tries to use that to make sure I'm comfortable. How easy it is to be around him. The way he just... cares, unconditionally. About me, for some reason."

"I had a few favorite things to make growing up that we couldn't always afford the ingredients for, so... those, I guess."

"It was fine? Pretty good night, not really worth having to walk on eggshells around him when I got here."

How do you like working on the ship now?

"It's weird still, but not bad. Mostly. It's nice having more freedom to try making different kinds of foods... I could do without having the kitchen stuff split with other mate duties, but that's been less annoying since we started carving time out of the schedule for combat training. Which is a whole other level of weird, but... also not bad?"
