kaila: shit.. hit the roof at my house. freaking connor just has a big mouth that doesn't know when to shut up.

trey: yo i should've let my brother deck him right in the mouth.

kaila: i know we were ... supposed to meet up.. but shit just went down at my house.. and i can't make it out to see you..

trey: wait.. what do you mean? what's going on.

listening to his question, she smiled and placed her drink down on the counter before turning in her seat to face, “oh wouldn’t you like to know.” she replied and bit on her lower lip, “funny, i too don’t mind seeing your face.” she added and smiled at him.

he raised an eyebrow in the air. “oh word?” he said nodding his head. “that’s how you feel huh? okay. i’m not going to force it out of you. you’re going to tell me. watch”

she can’t help but smile at his words as she sips her drink once more, her eyes never leaving him. she gave him a smirk and shrugged her shoulders, “thank you anyway.” she offered and blushed at the nickname, but also bit at her lower lip. “thank you, you look nice yourself.”

he gave her a smile once he noticed how she reacted. “so what brought you guys all the way here on out vacation. please do tell and leave no details.” he took his beer and sat it down. “i mean it’s not like i don’t mine seeing your face.”

“my brother can be stupid at times and never knows when to stop talking so that’s his own fault.” she chuckles softly taking a sip of her drink. listening to him, she thought a moment and released a soft hum, “mm don’t think i said thank you for not letting your brother kick my brother’s ass.”

he shrugged his shoulders again. “as long as you know. we’re straight.” he took another swing at his beer for answering her again. with a shit eating grin across his lips. “i know you didn’t and you don’t have to say it princess.” he sat next to her on the stool. “you look nice.”

“i see you escaped yourself.” she replied softly as she took a sip of her drink. listening to him, she shrugged her shoulders, “i mean maybe your brother needs to watch his temper, otherwise a fight would have most likely happened and that would have been on him.”

he nod his head. “or you brother could’ve watch his mouth. his lip was moving for no reason.” he said after he drunk some of his beer. “your bother would have been a vegetable. so you’re welcome.” he said with a shrug.

after sneaking away from the two families, kaila found herself at the bar and had herself a drink. she glanced over her shoulder to see a lot of things going on right now. making a face she turned her head, “but that’s none of my business.”

“you sure? because that’s my family and that’s your family.” he said overhearing her as he order himself a beer. “i’m surprise a fight haven’t broke out yet. granted i did have to stop my brother from punching yours.”
