This morning I woke up and began my daily routine: I went to the kitchen, made a green juice, listened to Rihanna as I struggled to make it through my Pilates workout, showered and last but not least, checked Instagram. As I was doing my usual scroll, I broke the cardinal rule: âNever scroll past BeyoncĂ©â! I know, I know please forgive me for my sins. I scrolled back up, hating myself for what I had done and BAM!
There was BeyoncĂ© on the cover of the SEPTEMBER ISSUE OF AMERICAN VOGUE! I donât know how to describe my initial reaction in words so here are some pictures as a guide.

https://vine.co/v/e5uZn013I7Z/embed/simple Okay do you get the point? Needless to say my faith in humanity had been restored. The cover is the perfect tribute to her last self titled album Beyoncé. The wavy hair from Drunk in Love is met with the Marc Jacobs Partition-esque dress. This is the epitome of #IWOKEUPLIKEDIS. Oh and NBD but Beyoncé is the first African-American woman to have a solo cover of the September Issue of US Vogue!
Last year Anna put Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevigne on the September cover and their careers soared to new heights. Joan created a fashion line, Cara has six films in the works and Karlie has not one but TWO September issue covers this year. So this basically guarantees the Queen Bey another flawless year.
Anna from me and the rest of the Beyoncé loving world, we thank you.
