Meet the cast!
Hello all, Sun here! Here's the new character portraits and the new name for the main cast of Trial of the Guilty. Sorry for taking an entire month after the initial announcement. I wanted to give you guys some brand spankin' new references, haha.
For those who might be stumbling on this post randomly : Hi! Welcome to Trial of the Guilty, a webcomic originally born from the diverse fandom of the Undertale multiverse who's recently been rebooted into a completely original story outside the UTMV. The first "edition" of the comic was posted on this here site in 2019-2020, but it has since been deleted. So far, this project is still in its infancy, and will eventually be posted in webcomic form.
Anyway, here's a quick bio of each of the characters!
🦋 Thyl : A lone wanderer. With no attachment to any place or person, Thyl wanders the lands, searching for anything to entertain his lonely existence. In exchange for an interesting story, Thyl will grant a wish, anything one could ever desire...for a time. How convenient that he isn't in the vicinity to see the illusion fade.
☀️ Mithra : The supreme leader of Paradisum and poster child of the old gods. Sent to shepherd humanity, he rules with an iron fist, with his specialized crew of the best fighters this world could offer. But even the mighty aren't safe from what lurks in the darkness.
💙 Erwin Garviagio : Once a normal child living in a lovely city near the azure sea, Erwin was born to be a brilliant mind. But a peaceful life was never in the cards for him. As his life crumbled away and a powerful curse nestled deep within him, Erwin has taken the path of revenge, never forgetting what could have been.
🌙 Nuada : The twin brother of Mithra. Lost to time, he lives a quiet life on the outskirts of society. It is said that he is as ancient as the earth itself. He is a powerful spell caster and has extensive knowledge of anything magic. It is said that if one prays to the moon for help, it comes to their aid...
🗡 Gwynn Caliburn : The only son of a long line of illustrious knights. Born to serve Paradisum, he has been trained from a very young age to become the emperor's most trusted companion. Will the most loyal sword in the empire be enough to keep it safe?

So here they are, the main 5! They've been cooking for about a year now, so I'm very excited (and also relieved) to finally have the reboot be official. You'll see more doodles from me, since I have a year-long catalogue of stuff to share, but I've also been drawing a lot more regularly since December 2024.
I will probably be posting plenty of doodles on Instagram as to not completely overload this blog, so feel free to follow me at @/ _mrssunshinee ! It'll be a lot more casual there.
Finally, thank you so very much to those whose been here since the very beginning. You are seen and heard, haha. Always a delight to see the familiar faces in the notes. So big love to you guys.
