The sanctuary lay silent. For a brief moment a single drop of water could have been heard falling from the ceiling
For Tekira, it was the sound of change as she took her tunic from where Master Bern had lay, silenced by death. Now he was trupy one with the force, perhaps it was the better place for him.
The remains of broken droids scattered the floor as Tekira stood up to take a moment of her surroundings. There was no gain her for the Sith Empire, she was confused to the reason behind the attack...but then she remembered. The Sith had no reason, just destruction.
She journeyed fourth out of the sanctuary, unsure what was to come next. The battle had long been over by the time she arrived, whoever had survived was long gone.
...at least that was what Tekira thought until she came to the clearing past the ancient stone rocks that formed an older temple from before the Rakata Era.
Troop transports, and a dozen or more soldiera preparing to leave. At first they didnt see her. Tekira just watched as they were waiting to go. The slaughter was done, the next world awaited...relentless, unmoved by the sheer terror they had done.
At the verge of her anger, the very emotion she had fought to control Tekira battled. She wanted revenge for her master and the countless others. Yet in her mind she felt Master Bern teach her to be calm. The jedi do not seek revenge.
"Up there, on the hill" a soldier called out
"A jedi?" Another asked
"The jedi are dead, she is no jedi, not a worth adversary of our attention, we have orders, move out" An officer said.
Tekira focused her mind, her breathing, her connection to the force. The Sith were not going to stop, not without resistance. Extending her fingers she walked slowly forward. The very earth started to shake. She was calm, the force was with her...finally Tekira understood, darkness would only be stopped by light...and she wasnt going to stay out of it any longer.
"Worthy? Come then, if you want a worthy adversary...ill give you one" she said to them as the ancient rock formations began to lift in the air, one for each transport...one for each soldier...
