The human wrote a daemon diaries entry and I am posting it here.

I yawned as I tried to reposition myself for the umpteenth time so I could try to get some sleep before the plane touched down in Germany in what was anticipated to be another hour. Although it was an overnight flight, sleep was hard to come by in the hot and cramped plane.
“Please go the fuck to sleep,” Triamber sighed, somewhat jokingly and somewhat serious. His incorporeal body lay curled up on my lap in the shape of a pine marten.
“That’s easier said than done,” I retorted, adjusting my position yet again. “This plane is as hot as hell.” Triamber murmured his agreement and climbed up to sit on my chest. We spoke quietly for the remainder of the flight about our excitement for the three week exchange we were about to embark on. When the plane finally touched down in the early morning, it was a relief to stretch my legs and leave the plane. I was able to meet up with my two friends, Gwen and Mary, who had sat elsewhere on the airplane and the three of us walked through the airport excitedly talking about our upcoming trip.
“I can’t believe we’re finally here,” Gwen commented to me. “It feels so unreal.”
“Definitely,” I agreed. “It will be nice to finally get out of the airport, though.” We made sure to follow our German teacher, Herr Fox, and the rest of students from our school and made our way into customs where we would get our passports checked and be allowed entry into Germany. The group made it through customs with no problems at all and gathered at the baggage claim. The twenty students and two teachers milled around, most of us yearning to climb into bed. I felt the beginnings of a headache coming over me and turned to Mary to ask if she had any pain medication.
“That’s funny,” she remarked, handing me a bottle of aspirin. “I have a headache as well – must be because of not getting any sleep.”
“Makes sense,” I nodded. “Hopefully we’ll be able to get some sleep on the train.”
Right as she was about to reply to me, a searing pain passed over my whole body. I felt hot. It felt like something was being torn out of me. I bit my lip to avoid crying out in pain, hoping no one else had noticed the pained expression on my face. I was near tears.
Then all of a sudden it stopped.
There was nothing. There was no more pain.
I opened my eyes that I had squeezed shut due to pain and what I saw amazed me. There seemed to be an influx of animals. Birds, cats, lizards, and so many other animals had just appeared. What could they...no...it couldn’t be...how could it be... I looked down near my own feet and saw that my suspicions had been confirmed. A small grey tabby cat sat there; the cat I had just been projecting Tri as. The cat - I mean Triamber - looked up at me, a small smirk gracing his features.
"That's right," he laughed softly. "It's me."
"Triamber," I whispered as he changed forms and climbed up my arm as a pine marten. "It's nice to finally meet you."
My focus on my newly corporeal daemon was shifted to everyone else as someone screamed having just seen what happened. I looked around and saw total chaos. People seemed to be scared of their daemons. I looked at Mary and Gwen and saw that they looked somewhat apprehensive. Gwen was being talked to by her daemon, a Patagonian Mara and seemed to be becoming calmer as a look of realization passed over her face. Mary's daemon, a small songbird wasn't having as much luck with her, but eventually she was calmed down.
“Everyone gather over here!” Herr Fox yelled to the group of us, beckoning us to where he and the other teacher chaperoning our trip stood. Everyone waited there just trying to figure out what in the world was even going on. Herr Fox had a look of slight panic on his face as he tried to calm everyone down. Triamber spoke quietly in my ear, still a pine marten sitting on my shoulder and we carried on a conversation. We were thrilled that he was corporeal.
The next few hours passed in a blur. The explanation of what had just happened had spread through the world like wildfire. People were alarmed and scared, but once the word got out of what these ‘animals’ actually were, people seemed to accept it and try carry on their lives as much as possible. There was news that the world’s major government officials would be meeting to discuss what was going on.
As for my group of other American students, we would continue on with our exchange as planned. We waited for our scheduled train to arrive and got on it, all sitting in the same car. Discussion about daemons filled the train, everyone was initially dubious but seemed willing to accept it. Eventually our earlier tiredness took over as one by one everyone fell asleep. Triamber and I were the last ones awake. We looked around the train car seeing my fellow students sleeping. Some of the people who had larger daemons such as a boy with a red fox and a girl with a dingo had their daemons curled up sleeping at their feet. Other people had their smaller daemons curled up in their laps. It was amazing to see how already it was natural for humans and daemons to fit together like an ultimate puzzle. My own daemon was sitting curled up on my lap in the form of a grey tabby cat.
“This is a bit more spacious than the plane, eh?” Triamber commented.
“I’d say so. Maybe I’ll actually get some sleep,” I murmured then after a moment I added, “I still can’t believe any of this is real.”
“Nor can I,” he agreed.
“I’m glad it happened, though,” I decided
“Me too,” he told me. “But we can talk later... I think it’s time for you to go the fuck to sleep.”
“Alright,” I chuckled. “Goodnight, Tri.”
“Goodnight, Anna.” Triamber curled up against me and I stroked him as the two of us began to fall asleep. I was looking forward to the next three weeks. I had been looking forward to this Germany trip for years and now it was made even better by the emergence of corporeal daemons. I soon drifted off to sleep, joining the rest of my classmates as train continued to speed onward to its final destination.
