Day 5 has definitely been the most actioned packed day in Aus so far!! Team TRIBAL got up early this morning to get a sea swim in- to "get the wetsuit wet". It proved to be a gentler dip but a great way to start the day!! From there, we all piled in the cars and headed to Australia Zoo- the zoo of Steve Irwin fame. What an incredible experience!!! If any one is ever in this neck of the woods, this is a MUST!! The park is big, so be prepared to walk, but there is something to see and take your breath away on every corner (especially watching a tiger climb a tree and a crocodile leap!!) We were all pretty spent after that.... But a sign that says "go karts 400 mtrs" can't be missed!! So in Team TRIBAL went to duke out who the fastest "racer" was before Sunday... Congrats Robert-James on a great win and Callum for taking the youth division!! Back to the Casa for a 30 min scrub, and the back out again... For what can only be described as the DADDY of all race briefings!! Over 3000 athletes were treated to Aboriginal music, talks from the great legends of Ironman and a sit down dinner... All MC'd by the great Saffa IM voice Paul Kaye... If that race briefing is anything to go by, this surely will be one of the most memorable races we will ever do!! A quick hello to good friends Nicholas and Andrea Bradfield and then home.... To bed!!! #tribalontour #funinaustralia #tribal #knowyourtribe #gogreen #tribalathletesdominate (at Mooloolabah, Sunshine Coast)
