To anyone with anxiety disorders: this stuff helped me so much before I started taking Zoloft. I was not ready prescription psychotropic drugs just because they intimidated me (I now love them) but this genuinely takes the edge off crippling anxiety. I got it at the Natural Grocers in my town. I highly recommend it.
Tips That Can Save Your Kidās Life.
THIS IS IMPORTANTĀ
When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didnāt want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phraseĀ āpeanut butter cups.ā (Iām happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now).Ā
I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didnāt want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didnāt know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I askedĀ āHey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?ā And she saidĀ āIāll be right there.ā And she came and got me within minutes.Ā
Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didnāt seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldnāt worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only āwomanā around that wasnāt related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked āNext time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? Iāve been craving them.ā And she came and got me, just like that.Ā
Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Donāt discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.Ā
DO NOT SCROLL PAST THAT.
Off topic, but very important! I was taught to yell āthis is not my mom/dad.ā A young kid freaking out in public is likely to be ignored out of embarrassment, but a kid telling you right out that they donāt know who is messing with them? That will turn heads.
VERY IMPORTANT!!Ā
Chopped but every time someone is eliminated the judges sing an Oompa-Loompa style song about what they did wrong
Honestly, I was using the Lush brand Eyes Right mascara and I loved it but found this mascara in my bathroom drawer and started using it again... only to remember why I stopped, it makes my eyelashes feel so weird!! I end up touching them a lot which gets me pulling, October is always an awful month for my trichotillomania so hopefully if I stop using this and go back to the Lush one I can get back on the perfect pull free streak I've been on for almost a year! Hopefully you all are doing well and this post helps prevent you from relapsing or experiencing something similar. Love you guys š
Wunderbrow full review
Alright ladies and gents I have been using wunderbrow for a week now and here is what I've got to say: don't fuck up when putting it on! You can fix it before it dries (I'd use a q tip) and the texture is something to get used to it kind of reminds me of a plastic/fake hair feeling it's kind of stiff and it does make your brush stiff if you don't wash the product off. As for the time it stays on it lasts about 17-20 hours and it doesn't look flawless the next morning but more or less good enough. The part that seems to come off is the portion of my brow where there is no hair at all which is obviously a problem if you have trich, but it does last a while so if you wanted to have a sleepover w a sexy partner I'd advise not to touch your brows if you can resist and if you apply it in the afternoon before your hot date or whatever event you should look perf in the morning. You can wash your face and take a shower and it will still look good unless you scrub it while in the shower and even then it doesn't come off completely. If you have any further questions feel free to message me! I'd recommend it overall and I hope yall have a dank ass day!

Wunderbrow
Guys I caved and bought wunderbrow I applied it and the only thing I have to say negatively is the texture but it really does stay on no smudging or anything. I'll let you all know about how long it stays on it's supposed to last 3 days through showering and sleeping and what not but I'll keep you posted!

When you almost forgot you had trichotillomania but then October came to wish you a happy anniversary of the worst pulling month of the year
sapphic trichotillomania moodboard (do not remove caption!)
Iām so frustrated, Iām caught in this terrible cycle. Hereās how it works: Iāll be able to not pull for a few months, and my brows and lashes become full. Sometimes Iāll even reach a point where I think of trich as something I āusedā to have! At some point I pull one or two hairs because itās just a few really tempting ones and I donāt think itās a big deal. And then just like that, one or two isnāt enough. I become more aggressive, and before I know it, Iām back to square one again. This stage usually lasts a few weeks, where I pull relentlessly until thereās hardly anything left. Then, I say enough, and stop pulling. For a couple of months. Until thereās a hair just begging to be taken. Do you see the problem? How do I end this impossible loop?
*comes across a slight inconvenience* me: you know what would solve this ????? death
