Sam seemed to tilt his head at Dean, hunters weren't really much of his concern since well, they didn't mess with his job and he didn't mess with theirs. He didn't require to bicker with them neither... Just going to continue his night holding his bag of candy
"Sweet costume, Charlie Brown", Dean eyed the kid; an amused look on his face. He looked around. "Where's your mom?" The wear and tear oddly complimenting the kid's costume was a bit unsettling. He adjusted his tie. He felt as if the air around them dropped a few degrees.
He was in town, digging up whatever he could find on a missing-persons case; clad in his fed suit, opting to take a stroll down the road instead of driving. He always liked the general vibe of the holiday. He liked the smell of candy in the air and secretly judging people's costumes. Which is why he stopped in his tracks upon seeing a small child standing on the sidewalk, all alone. He had to admit, he felt a little creeped out.
Sam appeared to glance curiously at the other as he seemed to look at the question before signing ‘no mom’ as he was clearly on his lonesome for halloween
