A moodboard to commemorate the type one max <3
I'll admit I didn't take any 124 photos at the Type 1 goodbye event last Saturday. I figured a lot of people were already taking enough pictures, but in hindsight, it would have made sense to have my own photo of the train at the event. Oh well! Did you see me there? I had a costume!

Today is a bittersweet day in Portland. Hundreds gather at Holladay Park to say their final goodbyes to the type 1 Max, the first model of Max ever in service. Entering service in 1986, the type one Max outlived its initial expiry date by ten years, spending every moment of its 40 year life serving the greater Oregon area.
