Drawstring Backpack experiment done! I just need to redo the edges so it won't fray and then shorten the strings. Next, I can work on adding an image via iron transfer or using my rubber stamps with fabric paint. Hooray!

Finished project, yay! I made a Hot Wheels Caddy and Race Track as a birthday present. I just eyeballed and kinda winged everything so it definitely isn't perfect but I do hope it makes a 3 year old boy really happy. One of the reasons I took up sewing was because I really wanted to make nice handmade gifts 😍

Before I got my sewing machine, I didn’t really know how to sew with a machine. We had an ancient Singer one decades ago but I never really got around to playing with it. I’ve always wanted to sew so during Black Friday sale, I went ahead and took the plunge. I read consistently good reviews online for this beginner machine so this is what I went with. Within minutes of opening the box, I started working on our table cloth. Thank you clear instructions and YouTube videos 👍🏼😊😁
