I Could See For Miles

Tonight I saw one of the best performances of my life. Bon Iver preformed at Massey Hall in Toronto. This is the second time I’ve seen this band live, and seriously, they were incredible. At the start of every new song I had goosebumps. It was chilling how amazing these 9 guys on stage were. Actually. At one point it felt as if I were actually part of the music. It sounds nuts, but I felt as though I was in an intense storm with no shelter, but the storm was the music. It was like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I highly recommend seeing Bon Iver. Tomorrow. Do it.

I Don't Care Where You're Going, I'm Coming Along With You.

I am the luckiest girl in the whole world. This past weekend I felt so much love from my friends and my family. I had friends from out of town come visit me, family pull all kinds of strings to make the impossible happen and boys who I would have never thought cared about me mission just to see me. I got surprise birthday cupcakes that were incredible and got to spend time with a few of my girlfriends who I never-ever get to see. A new friend (who I think may be around a while) made it a point to come to out just to celebrate my birthday. I’ve truly never felt so special to have all of these people in my life.

I celebrated my birthday last week, and I didn’t really publicize the actual date. Not including your birthday on your Facebook page gives you a real idea of who remembers the date and who relies on Facebook as a reminder. I didn’t think anyone would really remember, but I also didn’t really care. To my surprise my phone was buzzing all day long. Friends and family who’s numbers I don’t even have were texting and calling me. I felt so much love.

My two ex-boyfriends, who I thought hated me, both wished me. I think they still probably hate me, but were able to rise above and send me some nice wishes. It really meant a lot.

I have the most amazing family, including my sister’s boyfriends. I definitely take them all for granted. And because of them, I’m a spoiled little brat. I definitely need to tell them I love them more.

All in all, this birthday was the best of all birthdays. I’m so excited for the upcoming year, I’m using this a taste of what’s to come. So far so good.
