For this week's cross training I played golf at seaford head. It was sunny with beautiful views of seven sisters and seaford port. Golf was good too, made a change from spending Sunday morning in the gym.

Only 8 weeks to go until marathon time, 250 miles worth of training to go and 200 already ran. The 26.2 miles at the end seems insignificant in the scheme of things.

Only 10 miles today but the longer mid week runs are starting to take it out of me. I'm going to cut out (or trim down) weights at the gym. I really need one rest day a week at least. I'm planning to make baked cobbler on green lentils with kale tonight. I might bake some oatmeal banana bread if I can convince myself I won't eat it all in one sitting...

I started the ironing then decided to watch Dune whilst ironing. Then I quickly decided to take a break from the ironing and focus on Dune… 45 minutes later and I’m still slouching on the couch. Dune is just too cool.
