#4 Assignment: Flag race challenge
Working off the idea of my previous assignment, I painted my own rendition of those stormy clouds onto the fabric from the video (Same sheet). I am racing to find my partner and establish superiority in the hierarchy of time. Those who come first monopolize and create generational wealth for their dynasty. The cape is my house symbol. I carry it on my back because it is my art and therefore a part of me. A frame of my being. Although I got lost along the way and never arrived at the designated coordinates, my presence was felt in the erosion of sediment and asphalt beneath my feet as I trekked through the night.

Preaching to the quire.
Paragraph.
INDIVIDUAL STATEMENT.
This experience was certainly a unique one. It really brought and stretched the idea of what it means to make art, the video was unique and pushed a limit to social projects. Shrieking and creating an awareness to absolute weirdness. The memes were a very unique, as well as the unification of different articles to create on sentence. SHREK HUMANITY ANXIETY CHRIST.

Viral Interventions: The Project and Proposals
The idea behind this is making a bench suitable for a park space that has resemblance of Shrek the movie character. Included in the illustration are ogre ears, mushrooms, or toadstools, and a ogre-esque painting scheme. We wanted to make the bench with the idea of hostile architecture in mind, and to create a bench that would be suitable for sleeping. Amongst the homeless, the anxiety of not knowing where to sleep or having a safe space is a real problem. The idea of an ogre is ridiculous but the theme would fit a park. Providing a bench that welcomes people in versus a bench that only allows for one use.
#3 Assignment: Framing the Space
Untitled
How do we frame nature? Is the planet the canvas with the backdrop of nothingness acting as our borders for earthly pleasure? I wanted to explore this concept by projecting a portion of the world onto a piece of yellow fabric, with a lamp inside, serving as a symbol of the sun (A personified spectator that projects itself onto the art/world). I chose to focus on feeling rather than logic. Even though I am still unaware of what it fully means, I feel that aura of mystique compliments my examination of Earth. The esoteric nature of life and its bountiful creations. Now I have taken on the role of creator and simulated the world as is.
#2 Assignment: Iconic Places
Domicile
A deconstruction of nightlife in contemporary society. Lights glaring, bodies shaking, noise absent. Social gatherings for the youth are fading. The pandemic has been detrimental to our sociability. We're afraid to look each other in the eyes anymore, to have a passive conversation with a stranger or classmate. The clubs are a refuge for human interaction. The night grants us freedom from work and life. The noise of responsibility that drowns our daily lives is no more when you walk through those doors.

Death of the Artist (literally)
Art is dead. The death of the artist has gone under investigation. Art in the 21st century has been murdered. Who are the primary suspects? Capitalism, Media illiteracy, American Culture? Maybe they all worked together to take out the poor fella. They never had a chance in this short attention span, instant gratification era.
