#the100dayproject days 61 and 62, salmon berries are starting to ripen, I love their color, and wild blackberry blossoms are out in full force... and the bees... can't wait for the actual berries!!

A few more close ups of larger floral drawings I'm working on. There will be 12 in all and I'll also be using them for my 2017-2018 calendar... I'm hoping to get them close to finished before school lets out......😳

Back to my #the100dayproject day 61. I had to stop on my run today to snap a photo of this huge perfect snail! I've never seen one this big before😃

I bought myself this nifty rolled hem foot for my sewing machine. I'm getting the hang of it and it is going by to make sewing tiny hems a breeze!! So happy I tried this!!! Also scarves almost finished.... woot!

Another flower inspired by my favorite, poppies! This flower series I'm working on will also be the images for my 2017-18 calendar🙂

Two more drawings today for #the100dayproject days 59 and 60. And more "weeds", but I've always thought they are pretty, especially the clover.... they smell sweet and the purple ones taste sweet. As kids we would pull out the purple petals and suck out the nectar.... I still think it's fun🙂

I'm back to nature drawings for #the100dayproject for days 56-58 I chose three different wild grasses I find growing along the side of the road. I've always thought they're pretty and would pick bouquets of them when I was a little girl🙂

Flowers!!! I'm working on a few things right now, and these flowers are one of them, gouache and pen on watercolor paper.

Days 54 and 55 continuing with hiking essentials, sunglasses of course and shelter is important if you go on longer back country hiking.... still having fun with this, but I'll probably switch back to nature sketches in a bit🙂

For day 53 for #the100dayproject is an essential for me... good socks! Seriously. You're feet will thank you!

Day 52 for #the100dayproject are trekking poles, not necessarily an essential item, but useful especially up a steep climb!

Day 51 of #the100dayproject and another hiking essential... nutrition. Really, it's one of my favorite things about hiking, taking a lunch break on top of a peak surrounded by beautiful views....

Working out another idea for a big flower in my sketchbook. I'm getting excited about this next project, so many interpretations, colors, palettes and mediums to explore....
