The idea of clones having absurd tan lines has been amusing me lately. Just think of a group of guys who grew up indoors without sun exposure and probably had supplements for the vitamins instead of actively getting UV. Their Māori genetics have been itching for any single ray of sunlight. So when they get out, and the only part of themselves they somewhat regularly expose is their face, they tan immediately. Like a dry sponge unfurling at a drop of water. Meanwhile, the rest of their body that’s covered in armor still has a slow way to go

Dogma is horny and ashamed, struggling to balance arousal, guilt, and trauma as he learns how to choose for himself.

This fic portrays realistic sex and relationships, rather than idealistic porn, though hopefully it’s still erotic! The learning curve isn’t smooth, and mistakes happen especially with D/s dynamics in play.

What you do about the mistake is what matters.

Please go read Cetar if you haven’t already! This story is a direct continuation of the events of that fic. You don’t have to, of course, and this should still make sense without it, but also Cetar is such a good fic! (🔒)

(In that story, Dogma is referred to as CT-4156. Since it’s been written, a canon CT number has been revealed for him, so I made the decision to refer to him by it, designating him as CT-6922 throughout.)

“What the hell are you doing, bunking in your shell, kid?” Fives’ voice intrudes.

Dogma sits up too quickly, winces, and nearly groans in despair as all the progress he’d made in ridding himself of his unwelcome erection is negated at the sight of that striped ARC kama.

“Yeah, no, you’re definitely not okay. Come on, we skipped a step in that training and we’re going to fix that,” Fives orders.

Dogma gets up and follows him because of course he does— it is an order, after all. Maybe, maybe it will make more sense this time? Additional steps to the process could be helpful. He might even be able to do better, meet Fives’ expectations. He can feel his pulse beating between his legs and his groin aches. It’s hard to think past the sensations and he wishes they’d just go away.

Fox was avoiding Cody tonight, fresh off the Battle of Kamino and itching to tell stories of heroic daring and close escapes. Fox wasn’t in the mood for ebullient, generous Cody; he’d rather take his batcher petty and vicious and striving.

Rex was in dock too, the two of them thick as thieves. Fox could rest easy, at least, knowing Cody had someone to keep up with him and keep him in check, even if it was just the fancy little mutie.

He’d been hearing the backwash of rumors and stories of their joint success all throughout his previous shift. Aqua-droids this, and Rishi eels that, who fucking cared. People were the worst monsters, not animals or machines. You could predict what those would do.

Fox found a bardroid and tapped his selection on its input port, then slotted his credits in so the thing would dispense. Beer in hand, he navigated the tight-packed floor with its standing tables and raised platforms among clearings that invariably became impromptu dance floors to find an out of the way niche.

He ended up leaning back and shoulders against the side of an arcade unit, one foot up flat against its side. He sipped his beer and licked the foam off his lip and ignored the group of twi’s and chags who were competing at the shoot-em-up he’d chosen to hold him up.

They left; another, gigglier group came. Fox didn’t budge. He wasn’t in the way, and really, silly kids weren’t that much of a bother. He wished that his shinies could (that he and his gen had gotten to) be kids like that, but they did get to be, sometimes. And anyway, taking the silliness and freedom from these civs, here, wouldn’t make it any better for the clones, then or now.

He needed another beer.

Tup steps out of the showers, wringing water out of his hair, and the towel he’s slung around his hips comes loose. He tries to catch it without untangling his fingers from his hair, immediately gives it up as useless, and grins sheepishly.

Hardcase makes no effort to conceal his appreciative gaze, and Tup cocks his hip provocatively, coming a step closer. Hardcase levers himself up from sitting on the floor to kneeling, tilting his chin up hopefully.

“What’s up, vod?” Tup teases leadingly.

“You are, looks like,” Hardcase returns.

Dogma hasn’t stopped talking once the entire time. And Hardcase thought he talked a lot!

“…proximally, the sense of, for lack of a more accurate descriptor, strangeness I feel increases…”

Hardcase laughs. “Maybe you’re experiencing an acute anaphylactic reaction to something in my immediate vicinity,” he jokes, mimicking Dogma’s formal diction. He sounds exactly like how they’re all taught to write reports.

“…Allergic?” Dogma asks, taken aback.

“Mmm,” Hardcase says, punching in the next access code. “You ever break out in hives from being near me?”

“Hives—no. Prickle-bumps, sometimes, but—”

“Rash? Swelling? Shortness of breath?” Hardcase lists, tongue in cheek. He can hardly believe Dogma is taking his line of questioning seriously. He follows Hardcase into the compartment, brow furrowed as he considers his answer.

“Not—no rashes; I’ve never had any rash. But sw–swelling, yes, and, uh, shortness of breath. Yeah. But I don’t believe it’s due to anaphylaxis, Hardcase.”

“No, sir.”

This is all customary, up until this point. This time, instead of asking the same questions sixty more times, the interrogating officer rolls his neck, drops the datapad and slumps into the chair across from Corr, muttering, “Fierfek, I need a drink.”

Sev rounds a corner and collides with a sentient hurrying the opposite direction. They bounce off each other; the stranger, shorter and lighter than him, stumbles back further.

They survey each other for a tense moment and then she whispers, “Sev?”

She sounds like she’s seeing the ghost of a beloved KIA. He’s never seen her before in his life. “I don’t know y—

It clicks in his mind even as the disavowal falls from his lips, who she must be with a reaction like that. “…Bralor,” he acknowledges, strangled.

“You’re…” Her voice is full of confusion and wonder; she lifts a hand as if to touch him and then yanks it back like she’s suffered a proximity burn. “What are you doing here?” she asks.

“What are you doing here?” Sev fires back, confused and belligerent about it.

“Trying to find out what Vau was hiding,” she says. “You’re alive —how long?”

“All my life,” Sev quips, then relents, knowing what she’s really asking for. “I’ve only been here a couple days. Just made it off ‘Wookiee Planet C’ a few weeks ago.”

“How heartwarming,” Vau’s supercilious voice intrudes. He ignores Parja entirely, addressing Sev only. “If you want access to operatives, you’ll go back to your room and let me handle this trespasser.”

Parja’s nostrils flare and she looks about to blow a head of steam.

Vau continues without missing a beat, “I was intending to pass along the news of your survival and perhaps even facilitate a meeting, but if you’d rather cut short your stay, there’s no need for any of that, is there?”

“Operatives, you say?” another clone’s voice interrupts, directly behind Vau. For the barest fraction of a second, Sev thinks it has to be Fi, since this is his wife here, but it’s one of the Nulls: Jaing, he places. “Do tell me more. It almost sounds like you have easy access to Delta and Vader’s Fist you’ve been withholding,” Jaing threatens Vau, guiding him away with a heavy hand on his arm, and winking at Sev and Parja over his shoulder as they go.
