"We're hiring!" WG transformation story, Nerdification, M2M
Jason was a mixed, lean, tall man in his early 30s, standing up at around 6'6 and really skinny. And he had a bad morning, and it was starting to take a toll on him. Missed the bus to get to his mindless job he hated at a large tech firm in the city, his dog chewed on one of his ps5 cables laying out and he fell in a puddle, totally soaking his pants. And cold, wet pants in his opinion was one of the worst sensations the regular man can be subjected to. He was on his way to work, now being forced to walk due to him just barely missing the bus. he was now put on a later shift by his boss to make up for being late, he couldn't wait for that. He was walking down the sidewalk, hands in his pocket, not really looking at anything or anybody when something hit his nose. He looked up and his head moved to the side almost subconsciously, staring at the shop before him.
"Is.. this place new?" Jason wondered to himself. He had walked down this pathway many times, for work, errands or just meeting up with friends. Yet this cafe either was totally forced out of his mind or completely new. Jason glanced to the sign in the window, a light brown colored piece of paper with letters in a font that was so familiar but he couldn't place. The poster only had the words "We're hiring!" along with the information about the barista and baker jobs being posted. The pay honestly wasn't bad, it was well above minimum wage and the benefits were good enough to make him pause. But Jason had a slight superiority complex when it came to service workers, and he couldn't possibly debase himself to do a job like that, he told himself. The smell enticing him was starting to make his mouth water, so he snapped from his thoughts and pushed open the doors, he was going to be late anyways, might as well have something good happen to him today. The bell had alerted the one person working.
"Why hello there!" The gruff and yet friendly voice shook Jason from his self pity, and looked at the man. The man was in his 40s or 50s, with a light beard and greys seeping through his hair looking almost like tinsel. The man was also incredibly overweight, the barista apron stretching around his yoga ball like belly and large pecs did no favors in hiding this. His large arms crossed his chest and his smile never wavered, painted on his round face. The name tag plastered on his shirt said "Freddie" and that he was the manager. Jason looked at him for a moment before rubbing one of his hands against his neck and coming up to the counter. Wondering to himself how someone THIS old can still be working a service job? Even as a manager, that was still embarrassing in Jason's mind.
"Uh.. Yeah.. Hi." He mumbled before glancing at the menus put on the top of the counter, holy shit this place had options. Jason had no idea this many types of coffee even existed. Not to mention the amount of pastries this place had, did the manager seriously do all this by himself? Jason glanced into the back room and he couldn't see anyone there.
"What can I get for ya, son? Anything peaking your interest?" The portly man behind the counter asked, getting one of the cafe's disposable cups ready. Jason only glanced before looking back down into the menu. Couldn't this fatass give him a second? God..
"I'll just.. take a Mocha and... a croissant probably.." Jason grumbled, sighing before placing the menu's back on the counter.
"Any syrups or addon's I can get you for the coffee? It's not gonna break my back!" Freddie chuckled, a small yet hearty laugh that emanated from his chest. Jason glared at him slightly before glancing at Freddie's gut. Thinking to himself on how it's a miracle his stomach isn't breaking his back. Pressing up against the counter, making a sort of shelf he could probably fit a drink or two on.
"I'm good man. Thanks." Jason said, the uninterest and judgment in his voice was clear but Jason didn't honestly care. He was annoyed at the man's cheerful demeanor, and the amount of questions he was asking annoyed him even more. Jason knew the guy was just doing his job. But did he have to be so obnoxiously cheerful about it? Freddie nodded at Jason's request and turned around and Jason got a clear view of the large man's ass. If he thought the stomach was a perfect shelf, boy, was he mistaken. Each cheek was about the size of his head, and his thighs reflected that by being large, meaty things that stretched out his pants, leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination. Jason thought how he would rather see an ass like that on a girl than a 50 year old man. Freddie hummed and made his drink by hand, and Jason was shocked that despite the size of him, he moved at a quick pace with a lot of dexterity, maneuvering around like he had done this his whole life. He eventually spun around to look at Jason.
"Would that be here or to go?"
"To go." Jason promptly responded, looking away and biting the inside of his mouth lightly. Freddie nodded and poured his drink in one of their recyclable cups and placed it on the counter. Before heading to the bakery display and grabbing a croissant with tongs and placing it in a small paper bag. Jason had to admit the service was great. He wasn't sure if he knew of any place that was even half as fast as this man was. And he could not wait to take a sip of that coffee and bite into the croissant. He hoped it tasted as good as it smelt. Freddie placed the items on delivery counter right in front of Jason.
"Would that be cash or card?" He asks, calculating the total on a notepad. Jason glanced down at his total and his eyes almost bugged out of his head $5.25 for a croissant AND a large Mocha?? In THIS economy? What kind of witchcraft is this bullshit?? Jason shook off the crippling shock and following rage at the state of the economy and rate of inflation.
"Uh, card-" Jason responds quickly as he rummages around for his card. Only to have his heart sinking as he realizes he can't find it. Oh god. He dropped his wallet. "Shhit!" He hisses out, which grabs the attention of Freddie
"Somethin' the matter, son?" he asks, placing down the card machine and heading over. Jason felt his face go hot with embarrassment.
"I don't have my wallet-" Jason forces out. God could this day actually get ANY worse? Luckily, his ID and drivers license wasn't in it. But nice to know his card and 500 cash are now on their way to Timbuktu now. Jason shoves his hands in his pockets and starts to slowly back off from the counter.
"I'm sorry for wasting your time." Jason grumbles, but there's a hint of venom to the apology, not to Freddie, but to the situation he's in. Freddie gives a light chuckle, and smiles warmly, leaning on the counter."
"How about we make a deal? You do somethin' small for me and I'll give you your drink and pastry free of charge!" Jason stops in his tracks and looks back, rubbing his neck again.
"What small thing are we talking about exactly?"
"Just wipe off the counters for me. I try to pride myself on a clean environment but I've had such a steady stream of customers that every time I even think of pickin' up that rag the bell rings!" he chuckles to himself. Jason fully turns around, biting his lip. It doesn't sound too hard..
"Alright. I'll do it." Jason nods, Freddie smiles more and clasps his hands together.
"Wonderful! Come on back here and I'll get you what you'll need to clean it up." Jason does as he's told and walks around back. he's handed a wet rag and a spray bottle.
"You'll just be over here. Rough day?" Jason almost laughs, it more-so comes out as a sharp exhale.
"Was it that obvious? I personally thought I was hiding it pretty well.." As Jason continues to scrub the counter, a strange gurgle happens in his stomach, and it pushes forward ever so slightly, not enough to be noticed. But it just gives his stomach a tiny bit less definition. Freddie shrugs in response.
"I mean, you did practically mumble every word, I honestly just thought maybe you were one of those kids that just mumbles every word they say-" Jason pauses for half a second, 'one of those kids'? Jason was hitting his mid 30s, he didn't THINK he looked young for his age.. but Jason doesn't think it's worth to correct and continues cleaning, as he does that there's a few quiet cracks and pops in his spine as he shrinks just a bit, it's like, a quarter of an inch, at the same time his face slightly softens, the few wrinkles he had becoming a bit less defined. The man continues on.
"And the fact that your pant's are soaked. Actually, I have a spare I can give you. It was meant for the next employee I hire but I've had no luck so far. And I certainly can't fit into them at least." He chuckles. Jason thinks about it, the sensation of his wet pants against his skin was unbearable..
"Honestly I would kill for that. The thought of being in these much longer is killing me." The man chuckles at the response and heads into the back to grab the pair. Jason continues to scrub the counter, his whole body gaining a tiny bit of padding as he does so, his stomach pushes out a bit more, making him back just a tiny bit from the counter absentmindedly, his legs thicken and his arms as well, his face looks a bit rounder as well. His height continues to plummet a bit, losing around a full inch in height. Freddie comes out with the pair of pants and hands them to Jason.
"Here. There's a staff bathroom in the back, just head left once your in the kitchen, you can't
miss it-" The bell suddenly rings, signaling another customer has walked into the cafe.
"What'd I tell ya? Can't ever get a second around here." He chuckles to himself and shakes his head. Jason heads into the bathroom and closes the door behind him, getting a good look at his reflection. He stares at it confused for a moment, eyes darting to different parts of his face. It seems.. off. but he can't quite place it. He figures it's just the stress and changes into the new pants. They were way to big and also too short, coming up to his mid calves, but he couldn't deny they were much more comfortable than his actual work pants. He sinched the pants with his belt and came out of the bathroom, he noticed a locker outside of the bathroom and put his wet pant's inside of it, taking note on where it is to pick it up later. He comes out of the kitchen and Freddie smiles at him.
"You look great, kid!" Jason smiles slightly a that, and goes back to wiping the counters as his body expands once more, his waist, hips and thighs all follow suit as they gain padding slowly but surely grow, his hips and thighs slowly inflating until they were touching and rubbing together. His upper half doesn't fall too far behind, with his arms gaining enough padding to the point the movement of wiping the counter causes them to jiggle ever so slightly. His fingers fatten and his hands gain little dimples in the knuckles from the extra skin. His stomach continues to grow, slowly pushing him back from the counter as it gains a small but undeniable potbelly. His pecs slowly start to inflate, not enough to sag but enough to push out just a little further than normal. His height slowly shaves off as pops and clicks are barely audible over the customers that have started coming in. His face losing more and more years as time goes by, and his face continues to grow rounder, his face gaining padding to form a small double chin. Before he knows it, the counters are squeaky clean and he's a bit tired from the work.
"I-I'm finished, Mr. Freddie!" He stammers out, his voice cracks and breaks a tiny bit, gaining a more higher and slightly nasally pitch. He furrows his brows at his own words, he wasn't the kind of person to stammer really, and 'Mr. Freddie'? What's up with that?? But he doesn't have much time to dwell on it as Freddie's voice shakes him out of his thoughts.
"Attaboy! Do you think you could help me prepare a few drinks? I have em written down here for ya!" and he waves a notepad. Jason nods and takes the paper. But the more he tries to read it, the more harder it gets, squinting at the words as the world grows more and more out of focus. That's when he notices a pair of thick glasses hanging on his apron. He picks them up confusedly but puts them on nonetheless, the glasses make his eyes look huge, but the world is clear again. As he goes to make the first drink his mind starts to reel. Did he always need glasses..? And when did he put on this apron? The question's don't last long as he finishes up a drink and hands it to Freddie.
"You're doin well kid!" Freddie praises, which only makes Jason smile widely. He continues onto the next drink as his body shifts more. The height has shaved off about an entire foot at this point, and the world seems much larger to him for some odd reason. His stomach continues to push out and eventually sags over his waistline, pushing against his apron, his pecs follow close behind, eventually sagging under their own weight. His legs continue to plump up, his thighs growing wider and forcing him once again to alter his stance. You couldn't wrap around them with both hands at this point. His back starts to sag, making for a cascading waterfall of soft flesh. His hands soften and his fingers grow fully sausage like, his arms fattening up, causing even the slightest moments to make them jiggle like jelly. He wipes sweat off of his brow as his hair starts to elongate and grow curlier. Eventually the ball of fluff on his head reaches his chin, which is being swallowed by a more defined second one. His lips grow pouty from his cheeks being rather large, dominating his face and giving him a younger cherubic look. He winces as his mouth suddenly gains a dull ache as his two front teeth separate and push themselves forward, ever so slightly poking out of his mouth. The rest of his teeth slightly crowd together and shift to be rather uneven. Jason is snapped from his focus as he hears a clatter and a sigh from Freddie. He looks over at him to see a brew has spilt on the floor.
"So sorry ma'am. I'll remake that immediately. Jason, could ya do me a favor and mop this up real quick?" Freddie turns to Jason and smiles.
"Sure thing, Mr. Freddie!" Jason says, his voice now much higher and squeakier than before, with a slight nasal quality to it. With a distinct lisp and a slight whistle. He walks off to grab the mop from the cleaning closet. Now able to navigate the back room like he's been here so many times before. He heads back out as his height continues to plummet down, leaving him just shy of 5 feet. As he mops his body continues to push out forward. His legs almost forcing him to waddle due to their girth, and his arms push out as well, leaving a bit of flesh hanging down from them. His face rounds out and his second chin takes up a bit of his neck, which looks to almost shorten and widen. His belly pushes out a good few inches from his body, leading to a rather sizable shelf in front of him. His backside follows, his hips widening to make room for his rather large ass. Jason continues to smile to himself, and before he knows it, it turns rather dark. Freddie smiles and looks out the window, all the customers from the afternoon rush long gone.
"I think we should call it a day, Jason, don't think we're gonna get much activity for the rest of the night." Jason nods and helps Freddie put away supplies. Freddie comes behind him and ruffles his hair, which causes Jason to giggle a bit.
"You did good today kiddo, there's already an assortment of extra baked goods in a box for you to take home." Jason smiles
"If I didn't know any better, I would almost say you keep making extra for me on purpose!" Jason retorts, his teeth whistling out every word. Freddie puts a hand to his chest and looks away in fake-insulted.
"I could never! I'm offended you would even think that!" Jason and Freddie laugh together and Freddie ruffles his hair again. Jason goes to grab stuff from his locker. His backpack with plenty of keychains from the various pieces of media he's into sits there waiting for him like it always has been. He takes it out and puts his apron inside. When he leaves Freddie calls out to him.
"Stay safe out there! I'll see you tomorrow!" Jason waves back
"See you tomorrow Mr. Freddie!" And bounces off to his apartment nearby. Ready for another day of working at the cafe with Mr. Freddie after a long rest, surrounded by plush animals, posters and laptop playing songs from his favorite idols and vocaloids.
