Fielding tough questions about life and death, and gaining an epiphany about cats. Yes, this was a real conversation we had with our 5 year old. Gotta appreciate the nonsensical wisdom of young children.

Pastry Cat: a memorial comic
Robot has crossed the rainbow bridge. She lived a good long life, reaching 17.5 years old. She came to my life as a young kitten during my college years. She was my first real pet, my first ever cat. She lived through Baltimore, NYC, and Austin with me. She got to meet my two kids. My entire adulthood was with her by my side. She inspired my first comics. She taught me all the joys and quirks about cats, and made me proud to deem myself a cat lady.
Rest in peace my little lady. ❤️
A little ode to the joys and wonders of being a toddler boy.
Robot keeps invading our dinners to get her mouth on that delicious human-grade glass of water.
Trying something a bit different for a comic - still a true story. I just want to capture a feeling that's been plaguing me every day lately.
My one year old boy is constantly scheming something clumsy.
Nobody:
Absolutely no one:
Not even the cat:
My one year old: "I'm gonna eat that"
Always tell your children you love them, and hopefully they return the feeling.
My 2024 year in review, done 3 weeks late....because mom life lol.
A beautiful daddy-daughter Christmas memory.
Gotta teach the young ones the way of the cat and how we get blessed with the proud song of their people.
I guess this is one way to introduce allergens to babies.
Uh oh, is it time for an anatomy lesson?
Figure I should update the family portrait once the new baby arrived. Rocket will always be number one for parental attention.
Meet the new baby!
I guess my name is "mommy" now.
