Ah, to be a wayward and forlorn entity of knowledge who now exists outside of time, the only hint to his world's existence being his own profound knowledge of it.

One of the other divisions in the TBD seems to have their eyes on him, but he's still on probation for the time being so he hasn't been sorted into a specific location yet. This place is much like his spire; time is inconsequential here, so he has no idea how long he has been or will be on probation. But, he's doing his best to be diligent with what's been asked of him.

The research he can do in his own time is just too good to pass up, after all. He was always curious about time in this manner, and it's not often he meets someone who knows more than him on a subject.

While Nilly is the favorite of the ancient flops to bully because of their long history and connection, Shadow Milk Cookie is nothing if not a cookie of variety! Spice of life and all that. So, today he's in the Dark Cacao Kingdom.

Soldiers tripping over nothing. Some of the chocolate for the wall ends up not being tempered properly before it's applied and is much less sturdy as a result. The monsters in the licorice sea seem agitated by something. (He dropped an old staff of his in these waters on his way to East Yeast once upon a time and he needs to get those little buggers back for stealing it)

Why is he doing this? Mildly to majorly inconveniencing the people of this kingdom he has no real stake in? Because it's funny. And he wants to play a little game with the king. See how long it takes him to find out there is a BEAST in his walls that slipped by undetected. He's no Mystic Flour Cookie, but damn if he can't put on an even better show.

Faster he finds out, the more points he gets! Ha ha! But don't take too long or else he might put some cracks in that nice wall for attention.

Crunch, crunch, crunch.

He's chewing on popcorn in the background watching Burning Spice Cookie tear apart a building with his bare hands. He wasn't there when it started happening, but he does enjoy a good show from another aspiring actor now and then.

Of course, Burning Spice Cookie wouldn't describe himself as such. But, that's hardly important right now.

Little stupid cookies are scrambling from their lives like this is a Godzilla Movie, and Shadow Milk Cookie is taking great pleasure in being the audience for once. Though, maybe he can give some backstage directions and teach his hot headed friend how to do a proper heat beam to really sell the image.

"Get the left support next!" He shouts from the crowd. "That'll make the whole thing come down in a wave!"

Oh, he can't help it. He's a director at heart! He's also the kind of person to shout "Do a Flip" when someone says they're going to jump, so he's also here to egg Burning Spice Cookie on.

Pure Vanilla Cookie finds himself waking in an unfamiliar place. His staff isn't on hand, so he finds himself on his hands and knees in this unknown place looking for his visual aid. The smells are unrecognizable and he has no idea how he got here.

Eventually, his small hands find a grip on something he does know; his staff, and he closes his eyes and lets the familiar magic turn this blurry mess of colors and half shapes into something more solid. He's somewhere high up; some kind of shelf? And the area around him is absolutely massive, as if a giant lives here.

There is some kind of oversized jar behind him. It's transparent and seems to be filled with... chocolate chip cookies? How curious. They smell like the usual scent that follows the Dark Cacao Kingdom, and yet these cookies are circular and inanimate. May as well be furniture in this strange, giant room. Reminds him of the lifeless dough that came of his and White Lily Cookie's experiments when they were children.

"Where on Earthbread am I?" He murmurs to himself, puzzled and slightly curious. Perhaps there are new truths waiting in this place? He must have been brought here for some purpose.

"Oh, I've been aware since before there was language that described these kinds of things. See, I don't like being contained in a box. I'm not someone you can just slap a label on and call a day. Silly little mortals like to sort things into neat piles to make sense of it all, and though labels aren't really my thing, I'm willing to try a few more things at this buffet now that there's more variety than "boy, girl and one way street"

"As I've mentioned, all of this is still relatively new to someone like me. I grew up on the countryside so there wasn't as much pressure to fit in with the norm in my childhood, because I was mostly alone aside from my family and other ranch hands that visited occasionally. Though as I became a prominent figure, and a king, there became an increasing pressure from the other ruling classes at the time about when I would be wedding a queen and having an offspring."

He laughs a bit. "I suppose it was around then, that I realized. For, unlike most of my companions who went on to sire children like Hollyberry Cookie and Dark Cacao Cookie, I am, many years later, unwed and still childless despite being a very prominent royal figure. There was just no appeal in that for me, myself. Though I am still very proud of my friends and the lives they built as well."

"And then history went on to say the Fount of Knowledge and the little healer he always had at his side were just really good friends."
