Energy Work: Energy breathing

Energy breathing is an energy working technique that is used to bring energy into your body, and expel negative energy from the inside. This breathing technique can also be used in order to focus your mind, while you go through the process of also allowing your energetic flow to be strengthened, and cleansed throughout your body.  This technique is very simple, and can be done anywhere at anytime and can be combined with the practices of centering, and grounding.

1) Begin this practice by sitting, standing or laying in a relaxing position, then proceed to close your eyes.

2) Visualize the energy flowing throughout the inside of your body as a blue mist.

3) Now begin deep breathing, Inhale through your nose, and exhale through your mouth. As you do this visualize breathing in more bright blue mist on your inhale, and on exhale blowing out black dark smoke. On inhale you are going to want to breathe in fully expanding all parts of the lungs, and on exhale you are also going to want to empty your lungs as much as you can. With every breath visualize your energy as blue mist moving throughout your body.

4) Continue to do this for an extended period of time while visualizing this imagery as clearly as you can in your mind.

💧Water/sea/lunar/love witches- lotus, lily, jasmine, gardenia, magnolia, violet, rose, peony, geranium, orchids, hydrangea, lilac, passion flower, petunia

☁️Air/storm/cosmic witches- (any aromatic/light flower) lavender, babys breath, dandelion, daisy, heather, freesia, daffodil, chrysanthemum, forget-me-nots, st John’s wort, primrose, bluebell, linden

🔥Fire/solar/desert witches- sunflower, hibiscus, poppy, chamomile, chrysanthemum, aster, marigold, calendula, snapdragon, cactus flower, prickly pear blossom, carnations, poinsettia, st John’s wort

🌲Green/earth/ forest witches-(any bulb/foraging/herbal flower) tulips, feverfew, echinacea, passionflower, comfrey, amaryllis, hyacinth, dahlia, iris, catnip flower, sage flower, basil flower

🏠Kitchen/cottage witches- (any edible/fruit/vegetable flower) such as elder flower, honeysuckle, passionflower, apple blossom, strawberry blossom, orange blossom, rose, pansy, squash flower, marigold

🌼Healing/garden/tea witches- (any healing/edible/aromatic flower) such as calendula, chamomile, helitrope, lavender, milk thistle, beebalm, yarrow, red clover, rosehip, passionflower, elderflower, lilac, violets, and orchids

**please do research on the flower before you ingest it in any way

I spent the most magical afternoon

I went for a walk in the nature, and I took a path that was completely new to me.

I kept walking, when I came across a cute house surrounded by flowers. A little child was watering the plants, and a woman insisted to offer me a glass of water. I didn’t know her, but she was a friend of my uncle’s sister, apparently. We talked for a bit, then she told me to follow her, because she wanted to show me the laboratory where her husband produces honey. There he was, working.

He gave me a piece of honeycomb to chew on, then he showed me the complete process to make honey. Finally, he gave me a jar as a gift. The woman explained to me how to go back to town, and she walked me to the bridge I would have to cross. That looked surreal too.

I feel like the house won’t be there if I ever go back. It was beautiful.

Something To Think About

So, most of us Witchy POC are aware of how prevalent appropriation is in this community, especially with Hoodoo, Voodoo, Brujeria, Santeria, etc. But I feel like nobody speaks about Asian spiritual practices and cultures being appropriated. We need to bring more attention to that and start respecting Asian closed/exclusive practices as well. I barely ever hear or see any actual Asian witches on Tumblr and nobody advocates for them either. So…let’s do that!
