Hey y’all!!

So sorry I’ve been gone! I moved blogs as I needed a change of pace! Sorry for leaving on you all! Hopefully we can rp again another time!

Virgil was traveling along with his mate Patton, both of them were cat hybrids who were escaping their homes. They come across another one, who seems to be very pregnant and injured. -ts-rp-time

When they were walking along the treeline of a forest, out came this very injured and heavily pregnant cat hybrid bursting from the trees. This cat had obviously just managed to escape from his master, as he was bleeding from multiple areas, including between his legs and his thighs. And he was crying as he was running, he didn't know where he was. What any of this is. His entire life was spent in that basement of his master's house, the only bits of the outside world he got was from the windows when he cleaned. He's never had fresh air before, he's never felt leaves or pavement below his feet. He's never felt anything like this before. And he was so so scared and confused, all of his senses are into overdrive with one word being repeated and repeated in his head. Run. Run. Run. His hands were tied behind his back and he had a thick muzzle on including a collar on, and he was naked. But he didn't dare stop. Even when he was running in the middle of the street and cars were coming. Loud. Everything so loud. Stop. Stop. His thick calico tail was so fluffed up that it was about twice the size of his thin and tiny torso. Half of his face was burnt off and he had many scars littered throughout his body and pelt. He definitely was abused, and judging by his frantic attitude, he had just escaped.

Virgil looked at the cat and wasn’t sure what to do. He looked to Patton and then at the cat. He watched terrified as the cat almost got hit by cars but wasn’t hit by some miracle. He watched the cat make it to the other side of the street (where he and Patton were) before he made a noise. It was one cat hybrids would use to signal that they are no harm but danger is nearby. He showed himself in a relaxed stance.

Virgil abd Patton we’re walking to a safe house. If they could help the hybrid, maybe he would come with them?

Patton jumped when he heard something crash through the leaves, thinking something is going to be charging at them. But once he saw the naked, injured, and very pregnant cat hybrid Patton's eyes went wide. He flinched as the cat crossed the road frantically, wondering how the heck she didn't get hit by any of them. Once the cat fell to her knees at the stop sign not too far ahead of them he tried to calm down his frantic anxiety and worry for this little one. He needs to be calm in order to calm this cat down. He made the same noise as Virgil and lowered himself closer to the ground, he had his hands down showing the cat his hands. And he made a soft purring noise, praying to any being up there that this cat won't start taking off again.

The cat didn't know these were cars, or that this was a road. He didn't know anything and so he's just running frantically. Once he did made it across the road to the other side he paused and frantically looked around him, his eye were wide as saucer's, it was clear he's running on adrenaline. Once he saw both of them he immediately tensed up and backed away, ready to flee at a moment's notice. He didn't even notice that they were cats like him, all he saw was people. Humans. Humans hurt. Humans greedy. Humans hurt and never stop. He cried out and flinched, his feet backing up from them in sheer panic. And at hearing those noises the cat didn't seem to understand for a moment, before his ear flicked and he whimpered. No, no, no, these cats must have humans behind them. Humans waiting somewhere to jump on him and hurt him some more. No. No. No, fuck that. He suddenly bolted away from them, having to cross the road again and luckily he didn't get hit this time yet again. And he ran, and ran.

Virgil started to follow the cat, grabbing Patton’s hand so that they wouldn’t seperate. At least the safe house was in this direction.

They ran for the cat before humans who looked mean started to appear. They weren’t masters or anything like that but they seemed to be muggers or assaulted a. Virgil was able to help fight them off from him and Patton but he was worried for the other cat.

Patton mentally cursed when the cat ran off the other direction, she must really be terrified. Normally that works on a lot of strays and hurt hybrids. Guess this one doesn't trust anyone, which given the wounds and many...many scars on her body he doesn't blame her. He held onto Virgil's hand tightly as he ran beside him, and he was grateful that the safe house was this way. Cause if worse comes to worse they can have everyone surround her then they can inject her with some sleepy drugs. That might work. Once he saw the humans though Patton growled and let go of Virgil. They stared each other down for several moments, and the cat was mentally freaking out he could tell. Shit, shit, okay. The moment the humans charged forward with their weapons Patton immediately rushed forward, intending to get the cat out of harm's way and protect her from any of these humans. Before he could do that, however, the queen suddenly darted back into the street. And a car was speeding it's way right to her. "No!!" Patton screamed and charged forward towards her pushing her out of the way. But he turned to see the car speeding right towards him instead, and he could tell the car hit him. But he weirdly didn't feel...anything as he hit the ground hard before letting out a loud yowl of pain.

Anyone with weapons ran off and Virgil just screamed, he then ran to Patton tears rushing down his face. Patton’s right arm and left leg were clearly injured and it was possible there was internal damage. He moved Patton out of the way. The car that hit him had driven off. Virgil tried to find the other cat. Patton was hurt saving him.

Virgil had to collect himself and get Patton help. Maybe the safe house can heal him?

Patton shakily opened his eyes once he felt some hands on him, was those hands? He couldn't quite tell. It was warm, very warm that he knows. He didn't do anything as Virgil picked him up and carried him out of the way, what was happening? All he could do was hold on with his non-injured hand and he could feel pain in his hand when he did that. Shakily he looked down to see that even on his not injured hand one of the fingers were broken so badly that the bone was sticking out. Oh... Wow... Would you look at that... He didn't know bones could be like that. Wait... They can't...can they? Once he was laid on the ground he finally shook his head weakly, gasping for air and fighting to stay awake. "Q-Queen... Get... Queen... V... Get...the...queen..." He managed to say, his voice incredibly raspy.

The queen didn't know what happened, he was running and the next he froze at seeing a car speeding right towards him. He felt something pushing him, then the sound of a loud crash. He stared in shock, unable to move for several moments, then he slowly turned and by that point the car had already speed off. But once he saw the broken cat laying on the ground he simply froze. That...cat...got hurt...cause of him... W-Why? What... Huh? But that's... Hes never had someone do that for him before, he's never seen anyone do that for someone before. And... Oh... My gosh... He saw the darker cat coming over to pick up the broken cat off the ground, and his eyes couldn't stop staring at the broken one. He did that. He... Oh... No... Luckily no other cars were coming down or else he would have gotten hit in a moment cause he can't move... For several long moments he stood there, until he finally could take a step. He was sobbing, he didn't realize he was, but he was indeed sobbing silently. Then he took another, and another, until he was right before Patton. Then he suddenly went down to his knees and lowered his head, his tears spilling down the muzzle, and he looked over to Virgil with wide scared eyes. It was clear he never wanted this to happen. He didn't want someone to get hurt cause of him. He never wanted that. And he seemed to be silently giving Virgil permission to hurt him any way he sees fit, he hurt his friend. He deserves so..so much punishment.

Virgil just shook his head. All he did was take off the queens muzzle so that would t hurt him. He then picked up Patt again gesturing to the other Cat to follow him. All he could make himself say is “Safehouse.”

He started walking, and once he knew the Queen was following him he picked up the pace. They eventually got t safehouse where Virgil all but collapsed at the entrance, though made sure to put Patton down safe first.

When Virgil reached forward to him he immediately flinched and shut his eyes tightly, obviously waiting for pain and his punishment. But once he felt the muzzle released from his mouth and jaw, he simply stared at him. There was a two long thin lines that went from the tip of his lips all the way to his ears, making it look like he's smiling, obviously a joke from his master's. Then he watched Virgil as he picked up Patton and started..walking away? He stared at Virgil, watching him closely. Follow him... And safehouse? What's a safehouse? What is happening?! Even though he didn't have a clue what was happening here, once Virgil started walking he shakily stood up and started following him. He didn't know why. A safehouse could be just as worse, or even more so, then what he just came from. But he felt a need to make sure this pale cat is okay, that he's going to be okay. Since he got hurt cause of him, he feels a duty to make sure that he's going to survive this. And if he's walking to his doom? Well... Such is life... One set of torture to the next... Is that what the world is outside? Torture after torture? Cause right now... Right now it feels like he's walking into a brand new torture, and he's so so scared.

Patton didn't know what was going on, his vision was getting blurry and it was hard to breathe. Was he falling asleep? Maybe. He remembers someone saying that if they ever see a severally injured hybrid, to make sure they stay awake. No matter what. Is that what he's suppose to do? He assumed so... So he forced himself to stay awake, and he grunted in pain when he felt his body suddenly drop to the floor. Luckily he didn't feel any hard pavement meet his head, or else he would've been a goner.

"Hello there? Shit, Virgil! Patton!" The front door person exclaimed in shock. He rushed inside to get the phone and he called for the nurses to come up front, Patton and a clearly pregnant queen is injured. And they rushed out within a blink of an eye. "Virgil, Virgil, we need to transfer Patton to a gurney. We need to get him surgery right now. Please, let go of him." One nurse whispered to Virgil, noticing how tight of a grip he has on Patton.

Virgil recognized the voice as someone they talked on the phone to when they first called to try to find the safe house.

Virgil knew he’d have to let go but it was still hard. He kissed Pat’s forehead before letting go. It was hard but he did.

Another Nurse comes to Janus, she tries to calmly get the Queen to lay down. “We want to help you and your baby. Just lay down here, we won’t hurt you. Everyone here is hybrids.” She jestures to her own spider legs, “We’re here to help each other,”

Patton could see...shadows? Yeah, shadows. And he could feel footsteps and something really big beside him, what those were though he doesn't have a clue. He couldn't hear much, barely anything really, and it was hard to see. But he did feel the kiss on his forehead and he managed out a small and tiny strained purr. "V... Love...you..." He managed to say as the nurse gently picked him up and set him down on the gurney, they immediately rushed him off to the back where the hospital section is.

The queen didn't know what was going on, there was two cats, one injured and one not, then some other hybrid came out. And now there's close to ten different hybrids out here and his fight or flight instincts are kicking in. And right now flight is winning again. He took a step back, his eyes clearly showing that he is deathly terrified right now of all these new people. Are they human? No, hybrids... Where's the humans? There has to be humans somewhere that is making these hybrids move along. By the time the nurse came over to the queen he was shaking and trembling, more silent tears were down his cheeks and he didn't know what to do or say. When he sees the nurse coming for him he turned to the side so at least the kitten won't get hurt. Maybe. Run. Run. Why won't his legs move?! He flinched violently the moment the lady was right before him and instinctively ducked his head. But at hearing what she said he blinked and slowly looked up to her, yeah... She has spider legs... Everyone seems to be some sort of hybrid, she ain't lying about that. But even so he took a step back and shook his head. 'Humans... Masters... Don't want...another... Please... I don't want... Another master...' He mouthed out to her, his body trembling violently. 'Take... Kitten... Hurt... Hurt me....and kitten... I don't... Don't want that... Don't want... another...master...' He seemed to be pleading to her, begging her not to give him a master. He won't be able to take another one, he won't be able to go through a new master again.

“Love you too Patty.” He says, tears running down his face. A nurse guided him inside to give him a checkup as he seems to have minor injuries. His tail was wrapped around him and his ears were down. He was very worried about Patton and he wanted Patton to be okay.

The nurse nods. “There’s no masters here. Only hybrids. We won’t let a master hurt you or your baby again, you will be safe here.” She gets slightly closer, “A lot of people here were hurt like you were, we help them.”

Patton smiled faintly at his words before he was wheeled inside, after that he barely remembers a thing really. Actually, no, he doesn't remember anything the moment those doors closed and he was wheeled into the surgery rooms. Maybe he mightve passed out after that, he isn't quite sure. In any case, for hours it was all a big blur.

'O-Only... hybrids?' The queen mouthed to the nurse nervously. Once she got slightly closer he flinched and curled his tail tightly around his stomach protectively. 'T-They were? Really...? I... I...' He glanced around and now that he looks closely he could see some of them had scars that didn't look like a typical medical scar either. He swallowed thickly and nods, his head bowing. 'O-Okay... Okay... Gonna...be punished? For...hurting...pale cat?' He mouthed to her with hesitation, but he was slowly stepping over to her. He didn't like all the other nurses around them, he felt trapped and he was so scared the moment he lays down on that gurney they're going to gang up on him. Probably strap him down and...he could only imagine what they'd do next. His ears were flat against his head, and his tail was twitching with fear as it was so fluffed up. His eyes kept darting around to every nurse, and it was clear that he was terrified.

“It was an accident, we won’t punish you for that.” The nurse gestured for him to get on the gurney himself. “We want to help you and your baby, there’s no punishment.”

Virgil was checked over and he had a few infections from untreated cuts. Other than that, he was fine. They give him antibiotics and put him in a room to observe him overnight to make sure nothing else happens. They said that if Patton gets better they can be in the same room.

They also said that some man named Logan would be coming in to ask him questions. He didn’t know what but he didn’t really care. All he cared about was Patton.

'I... I.... R-Really?' The queen mouthed nervously and he looked between all the nurses once more. Did he trusted this nurse? No, not completely. But he knows if he runs he's going to get caught in a blink of an eye with so many nurses right here. So there's no point in running. He can only hope that she isn't lying directly to his face. He takes a shaky breath in, but starts climbing up on the gurney then lays down. He curls up in to a ball with keeping his tail over his quite round belly. He was scared, very scared. He prays to whatever being is up there that this isn't some lie.

Patton was in surgery for hours, a very very long time. They had to fix up quite a lot on the cat, and he got hit rather hard by the car so he had a lot of wounds and injuries. But they know that he's going to make it, it's mainly just lots of broken bones really.

The nurse gets a few other nurses to push the gurney in. They put and oxygen mask on Janus, which also knocks him out for the surgery. They go into the operating room.

Logan comes in, he’s a fox hybrid who works sort of like a case worker. His boyfriend, Remy, also does that.

Logan goes into the room with Virgil and sees the cat is curled up. He sits down in the chair by him, “Good Evening, I’m Logan. I have been told that your Virgil?”

Virgil only nods.

Janus whimpers mutely once they start pushing him inside, he's trembling and clearly terrified out of his mind at the moment. He keeps looking everywhere around him with those huge round scared eyes. Once they put the oxygen mask on him he immediately tried to take it off, luckily they gave him a high dose and since he already breathed it in he immediately passed out. Once they got x-rays of him they could see that he has multiple broken bones that had no treatment and so didn't heal right. Especially on his legs and his arms, including his ribs, it looked like in the past that it was completely smashed in multiple times, but again, since he didn't have any treatment the bones were brittle and weak. If he had gotten hit by that car, there would've been no hope for him. He probably would've died right there. And since he's so weak too, the baby was a lot smaller then what it's suppose to be. But considering he's so weak he definitely wouldn't survive labor, and since the baby is about ready to come out anyways, they did a C-section right there. And they immediately placed the small kitten in an incubator. They also saw that his vocal cords have been removed entirely, probably so he doesn't make any noise as they abuse him cause they wanted to keep him hidden. There was evidence that he's been sexually abused very recent, today recent, and has had so many litters that he simply had no eggs left. And he was fairly young too.

Logan nods in understanding, “Virgil, I have learned that Patton is out of surgery. He is seriously injured but he will be okay...Can you tell us what happened to him?”

Virgil lights up at the news that Patton will be okay. But he sinks back down as he explains how he and Patt were trying to escape to here, and that they found the queen on the way. And that they were trying to help him. He also explains how Patton got hurt saving him.

Logan’s eyes go wide. “Goodness, well I am glad you all got here. The queen is also critically injured but is currently alive.

The nurses were surprised at how much damage was done and how the queen was able to survive this. There was a surgery they could to recover his vocal chords but it would have to be done later on, when Janus was better and not so injured. They had to rebrake some of the injuries so they could be healed properly. They also kept him asleep so they could monitor him without him waking up and freaking out and hurting himself more.

Janus didn't know what was happening, obviously he didn't, but they were right that once he wakes up he'll start to freak out. And since his bones are so sensitive right now he probably would've broken something much worse and would've seriously hurt himself. So it is definitely good that they kept him asleep next to the rather weak and small kittens. They both were premature, and it was clear they didn't get enough nutrition from their mother while they were in the womb. So they both were sickly and very very skinny. But somehow they are still alive and wiggling around in their sleep. They both were holding onto each other with a heated stuffed animal in between them. And it was rather adorable.

One was a darker brown kitten with rather fluffy fur that stuck out at random patches, even though they were dried and the nurses brushed through their fur. And he had white patches throughout his thick fur.

The other one is mostly pure white but had some orange patches here and there. Even though this one's fur was just as fluffy it was rather smooth to the touch and felt much nicer then his brothers bristled fur. And so they both were adorable in their own rights.

Patton was starting to wake up but his brain hurt and everything hurt. He kept going in and out of consciousness and seemed to barely be there at all. "V...?" He managed to say, his head was throbbing at the moment and he groaned in pain.

Virgil curled himself into a ball. “Will I be able to see Patton soon?”

Logan shrugs, “Hopefully so, depends on when it’s safe for you to be by him. That will probably be within the next week.”

Virgil whimpered at that...since they met last year, they had only been seperated for more than a few days a couple of times and it was rough. In their last home, they typically stayed by each other to protect each other from any humans or other hybrids or to take care of each other if one of them got hurt.

A nurse walks into Patton’s room. She’s a deer hybrid. “Oh your awake. We had to do an intensive surgery on you, but you will survive this.” At the sound of his boyfriends name she smiles, “He’s in another room, after we let you heal a bit, you’ll be allowed to see him.

Patton was still groggy when the nurse walked into his room, he could barely understand anything around him let alone the nurse and what she was saying. He reached up his good arm to rub his eyes as he continued hearing her words. But at hearing that Virgil isn't going to be in here with him he immediately shook his head. "No... No... Need him here... You don't... You don't... understand... I need... I need him..." He managed to say through his painful grunts. He forced himself to try and sit up,.if they weren't going to let them be in the same room then he's forcing himself to go over to Virgil's room, and nothing will stop him. "Have to...be there...with him... Have to..." He had to squint in order to see her, normally his vision is pretty bad and he could only see blobs of color. Now, he probably needed glasses.... desperately.... But it's not like their master cared at all about that. That's another reason why they relied on each other for. Virgil was his eyes and Patton could calm down Virgil rather quickly. Patton was more better at hearing too then Virgil was, he could hear the footsteps of their master a lot more clearer then Virgil ever could, probably cause he couldnt see very well so his other senses kicked in. In any case, he knew he's going to start freaking out and panicking without Virgil there to be his eyes. Without the other half of his soul.

"Don't... Please... Don't... Don't do this..." He hiccuped and he raised his blue eyes to face her. "Don't... Don't...separate...us..." He begged her, pleaded with her, he'd do anything to get Virgil in here and back with him. And before he knew it he started tearing up. Since he didn't know how long it would take for him to heal up a bit, he didn't know how long that would mean for him to see Virgil again. And it was torture for him to be separated from Virgil for just one night. Who knows how long thisll take!

The nurse rushed over. “Please lay down Mr. Patton. I’ll talk to the doctor about letting Virgil in here while you recover. He’ll have to be careful so that he doesn’t aggravate your injuries, but we can try to get him with you soon.” She takes more of his squinting and makes a mental note to put possibly visually impaired on his notes.

She left the room to go talk to the doctor, after some discussion, they decided to let Virgil in the same room but with some precautions. She went to go grab him.

Logan has left the room and Virgil was currently alone and curled up. Glaring at anything around him. His hearing wasn’t the best so he relied on sight. When the nurse came in he glared but when she explained that he would be taken to a Patton his face immediately lit up. His pupils dialated and he looked so much happier.

Patton whimpered when the nurse rushed over and was gently trying to nudge him back down. "P-Please... Please... Thank you... Thank you... He won't... Promise... Been injured before... Always gentle..." He replied back quietly then he hears her footsteps walking out of the room. And he did laid back, but he was so nervous. What if they say no? The last time he's been separated from Virgil he had such a bad panic attack that he passed out. And then he woke up only to have another one, he had so many attacks during that one night span... He knows he won't be able to survive without Virgil at least here in the room with him. He'll die, he knows it. He was so scared and nervous, so very...very scared. What if Virgil has panic attack too and isn't able to calm down? He knows it's hard for Virgil to calm himself down, that's why he relies on him. And... And... He... No... He turned his head to the pillow as much as he could with his wraps for his leg that was elevated, and he gripped it so hard with his good hand that his fingers were white. And he silently started to cry, he needs Virgil here. He needs his other half. He doesn't feel like himself without his other half here.

And he was still crying silently when Virgil walked in. And though, Patton is really good at crying silently, as a matter of fact, he's so silent he hardly makes any noises. Considering the fact that if they weren't quiet they would get beaten whenever master heard, he got pretty good at that rather quickly. The only indication that he really is crying is his body shaking and how he grips onto anything so tightly his hands are white, that's it.

Virgil immediately went over to Patton. He grabs his food hand and kisses it. “I’m here. I’m here and won’t leave, I’ll be right here with you.”

Virgil looks over Patton and is very worried. He knew Patton was hurt but it shocked him to see him like this. He doesn’t know why but it is. He wanted to wrap Patton in his arms and try to distract him from pain like they did back before they escaped but he knew he he had to let Patt heal and one of the rules was minimal contact.

Virgil held Patton’s hand. “Are you in pain, Patty?” He knew he couldn’t take away all of Patton’s pain but maybe he could get a doctor to get rid of it like the doctor helped with his pain earlier.

When Patton heard footsteps approaching he immediately stopped crying, then he flinched when he felt a hand touching his own. Until he heard Virgil's words and he nearly started sobbing all over again. "V-V?" He whispered, squinting up to him with such hope and relief in his eyes. "V!" He squealed out and nuzzled his hand with his cheek.

Patton was purring while he nuzzled Virgil's hand, then he tugged him closer. He wanted to cuddle with him, like how they always do when one of them doesn't feel good. Or when they simply wanted to be close. And right now he's both. There is enough room on this bed for Virgil to squeeze in since the other is very skinny and thin, after all. "Your here... Your here... With me..." He said while he was purring, his tail flicking to and fro.

He blinked at his question and shook his head, "Body...not hurting... Head hurts though... Hurts to think... Think to talk... But it's okay... Have you now... Everything's okay..." He said between his loud purring. And he continued nuzzling his hand some more, but he let go of him to make grabby hand. He really needed some cuddles right now... Big time... He needed to know that everythings alright... Cause when they cuddle he feels like it's only them two in the world, that no one will hurt them. And he needs that right now. "P-Please... We... We'll be careful... Please..."

Virgil was conflicted. What if they took Patton from him because Virgil was told only minimal contact? On the other hand he could tell Patton wanted to be held and Virgil really wanted to hold him. Virgil’s wars go down as he thinks over this. “I...promised them only to touch a little so I could see you, I don’t know if they’ll let me Patton...what if they take me away?” Virgil is very confused and conflicted.

"You... You don't have to...touch me too much!... There's... There's enough space...beside me... For you to...lay down! I... I can... I can just...bury my face into...your hair! And you can...have your arm on me! That's it! Please... I'll let them...punish me! I'll let them hurt...me! Please... Please v?" Patton begged to him, his eyes getting watery and it was clear he was about to cry. There is enough space for Virgil right beside him since he is so skinny and this bed is on the bigger side. He isn't sure what these new people will do, but if they try to punish Virgil for this then he'll take the blame.

Virgil nods, he doesn’t really need much convincing. He couldn’t stand to see Patton upset. He fits himself into the bed, and stays by him. He keeps his body pretty away besides his arm and his head. He immediately begins purring. He doesn’t say it but if there’s a punishment, he’ll take it. He would take any punishment for Patton when both were healthy, let alone when he is injured. Usually he couldn’t but he would. His pupils are wide and he looks happier though he’s still slightly worried.

Patton could tell that Virgil is still nervous, but once he started moving onto the bed he kept mumbling his thanks and how he loves him so much. He scooted over some so he could lay beside him, but of course he could...barely move really with his leg high up like this. But he still tries. But once he laid his head on Virgil's head he started purring too. He closed his eyes contently and had his good arm on Virgil's side. He nuzzled his face into Virgil's hair and started purring even louder. He knew Virgil would try and take the blame for him if they do get punished, that is how Virgil always has been. He'll take a bullet for Patton, he knows that. He knew there was no convincing of Patton otherwise. His own pupils were wide and his tail flicked side to side. And judging by Virgil's loud purring he could definitely tell that Virgil was happy too. "Love you, V... I'm sorry I got hurt... You aren't mad?"

Virgil shakes his head, “Of course not Patty! The nurse told me that if the car had gotten the Queen it would have killed him. You saved his life Pat. Your a hero.” He kissed Patton’s hand, “Your my hero too. I love you!” He was starting to be more calm.

Then a nurse came in. She looked at the two, saw he was staying away from Pattin enough, and just sighed and shook her head but she smiled a nice and kind smile. “Your fine there. Just know that you might have to move when a doctor comes to check up on Patton.”

"It... It would've...? Really...?" Patton was shocked by that, course the car hit him pretty hard but he didn't even stop to consider how fragile that queens body was. He looked even more skinny then they were combined! He must've not had any proper food in...months... Maybe even longer the months. Then maybe...it is a good thing he got hit by that car and not the queen. Cause now he's alive and his babies are, he hoped at least. When he mentioned on how much of a hero he is and how Virgil kiss his hand he blushed deeply. "Love you... Not much of...a hero... But okay... Kittens...okay?" He asked, wanting to make sure that queens kittens are okay throughout everything that queen is been through.

When he heard the doorknob being messed with to open the door he immediately tightened his hold on Virgil. His fluffy tail came over to wrap around Virgil's leg. He doesn't want him to leave already... Please... Don't make him leave... He looked up to the nurse once she walked in and he swallowed thickly. Before watching her expression turned to nice and kind. Then he blinked in shock and stared at her. "It... It's... It's okay?" He doesn't mind that he'll have to move for the doctor, but he thought the nurse won't allow them to even do this...

Virgil nods. “They told me that kitten survived birth. Their tiny but will probably be okay.” He then kisses Patton’s forehead. “Your a hero. And so very strong.” Virgil wanted Patton to see himself the same way Virgil saw him. As the strongest person around and as very good. Though to be honest Virgil didn’t think much of himself, he didn’t hate himself or think he was lesser or bad, he just didn’t think he was very special.

When he sees the nurse his ears go up and so does his tail. He is in defensive mode willing to do anything to protect Patton and he knows Patton would do the same for him. When she says it’s okay his defensiveness goes down, but only slightly.

The nurse just smiles, “Yep! As long as he doesn’t get to close abd doesnt hurt you, we’re fine.”

"I-It...did? I... O-Oh..." Patton whispered and mumbled at that. He saved...three lives... Three... Three lives... Wow... Thats... He never thought he would do that. He never saw himself as a hero, even though he knew he would sacrifice himself for a stranger in a heartbeat. He never saw himself saving anyone other then Virgil... So this is....something else for him. He blushed deeply at the forehead kiss and flicked his tail. "I'm not...that strong... If I... If I was... I would've...jumped away in time... Didn't do much..." He whispered to Virgil, he knew that Virgil didn't see much of himself as well. But in Patton's eyes Virgil is so brave, so so much braver then he could ever be.

He notices that Virgil's defensiveness goes down but only slightly, and he figured Virgil would be less trusting to everyone at first. Patton tries to see the good in people and focuses on that one thing. And he tries to believe that people will take inspiration from that to do better, to be better. And most of the people they've met...don't... And Virgil only focuses on the ones that don't, while Patton tries to forget those types of people the best he can. But it doesn't always work.

"V...never hurt...me.." Patton said almost immediately as soon as the nurse said her words. His tail relaxed slightly then he swallowed. "Kittens...? Calico... Okay? Really...okay?"

The nurse nods. “The calico is currently resting as he was very injured but he’s currently doing okay. The kittens are here and are smaller than we would like, but they’re doing better.” After checking a few things around Patton the nurse leaves.

Virgil then turns to Patton. “I didn’t get to respond earlier but your still super strong. You survived getting hit and you saved three others. Your my hero.” He kissed the side of Patton’s face.

Patton slowly nodded, still amazed that he saved three lives. He never thought he would ever be a hero... And now look at him... "O-Okay... Okay... Thank you... When he wakes up... Can you...let him know... I'm okay? He'll....he's...might be worried... about me." Patton asked, hoping the nurse doesn't mind it. But he figured it would be traumatizing for the cat to see someone get seriously injured right in front of them knowing that he's the one to cause that cat to get injured. So he figured it would be comforting for the calico to know that he's okay. He squinted at the nurse as she moved over to fiddle with the monitors and wires before leaving.

Once she left he turned back to Virgil and immediately relaxed once he heard her footsteps actually left. Then he blushed deeply at Virgil's words and even more so at the kiss. He leaned forward to lick Virgil's cheek, something only cats do with the ones they trust overall. "I'm...no hero... I mean... I saved three lives...but still... No hero... Your a hero for getting us...out of there, V." He said with a snuggle to Virgil's cheeks. "Love you..."

When the medicine finally wore off for the calico he immediately could feel that his head was killing him. He groaned and slowly looked around, being hopelessly confused as to what is going on. What....is happening? Where is he? What...
