tips on finding a caregiver?
This is a really good question without a good answer! As a person who posts lewd content for a niche fetish, I get tons and tons of people messaging me wanting me to be their cg or wanting to be my cg, so I can tell you what would personally work on me. First and foremost, here's things you should NOT DO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER (unless otherwise stated on their profile):
- Starting with something like "hey" or "hi"
- Starting with describing or asking sexual acts that you'd do with them
- Asking about anything even tangentially related to sex or kink (ex. "Have you been a good girl?" "What are you wearing?")
- Calling them by petnames or titles
- Starting by asking them if they'd like to be your mommy/daddy/cg
- Sending unsolicited pictures of literally anything at all
- Generally speaking, simple phrases with no specific indication of what you're like, why you're messaging, or genuine interest in the other person beyond superficial qualities (ex "Hi, I'm X and I'm looking for a caregiver")
- If you get a response, don't be self-defeating. By this, I mean don't be like "I can't find a mommy because I'm unlovable and there aren't any mommies out there"
Now that you know what not to do, what should you do? I have a very simple formula for that :)
1. Say hello and introduce yourself
2. Express interest in something about the person you're talking about (other than the sexual or kink/dynamic aspect of their page) that they'd be happy to talk about. Asking a question about their interests or hobbies is gold!
3. Follow up with a little introduction about yourself that doesn't include anything sexual or kink/dynamic. Maybe even relate it to the question you asked about their interests! If you can find something that you have in common, that would be great :)
4. If you don't get a response, DO NOT message them again! It won't make them message back any faster or make them want to message you back if they weren't interested.
5. If you get a response, be polite and don't mention kink until they do first. People like to be engaged for who they are as a whole as opposed to what they're into (unless otherwise stated). Just be kind and express interest in them as a person!
And that's mostly it! Don't expect to immediately find somebody or immediately click! It takes time to find the right person, so don't be discouraged. I hope that helps!
