Happy Halloween!! I went to a vampires and victims party and just had to do my favorite vamp lady, Nadja from What We do in the Shadows. Honestly this was such a fun costume and I'm thinking I might take her to some cons! I made the top and I found the skirt at goodwill, and bestie styled the wig. Such a fun night 🦇

Saw Porter Robinson last night and it was so good!!! Haven't really wanted to post in a while as I was busy with some life stuff, but this concert gave me a chance to dress up a lil so I snapped some fit pics after I got home. I made the crop top and mask and modified the vest, skirts and net shirt are from goodwill, platforms are Demonia and belt is Shein. I've never been super into concerts but last night was kind of magical because for a lil bit it felt like the world could get back to the fun parts of the before times 👻

Feeling like garbage today as cramps came to town early this morning. Fun stuff. At least I can look cute. Everything but the platforms and belt are thrifted. This dress was originally from Target and it's this great like faux leather but it can get pretty warm. Luckily the weather today is perfect as that pesky humidity is finally going away 👻

Went and got a bunch of pumpkins from me ma for decorating the house today. On our way home we stopped at goodwill and I found this amazing belt so of course I had to style it immediately. It's so heavy and I love him. I made the top but everything else is thrifted! It was perfect pumpkin getting weather today, finally feels like fall 🍂

Went to an 80s/90s vintage fest today. It was aight. Some cool stuff but I didn't end up getting anything. Had a nice walk in the rain afterwards near a lake tho so that was cool. I made this top, the dress under and the skirt are thrifted, the gummy bear necklace is from Hot Topic, and shoes are from bestie. I think I might curl up and watch Hocus Pocus with some hot chocolate 🎃

It's finally October!! Spooky season has begun!! I'm pumpkin ready! I found this skirt in my basement with a bunch of old clothes and I have no memory of where it came from (it's also like a children's large?!) But I knew it would look so cute with this thrifted pumpkin sweater. Time to watch spoopy movies and not leave the house because the weather here is still stuck in humid 💀

I feel like a fluffy lil fairy and I loooove it. It's been a little on the humid side so I wanted something I could stay cooler in. Everything is thrfited, even the boots! A take on a 90s ish fall look I guess? I dunno I like the stripes on this turtleneck but it might get too warm to keep wearing it today. Went on a walk this morning to walgreens and the one I went to really needs to get on top of their Halloween game because it's just sad. Damn it walgreens I just need spoopy crap thank you 💀

Went to Duluth on a day trip today and found some cool rocks. The best one I found did not make it into my jar because sometimes you fuck up and then you're sad because it was a really cool rock. But I had fun despite the tragedy. I made the lace top and I'm just gonna say everything else is thrfited because that belt is a mystery. This fit was kind of hard to capture because there's this cool shimmery layer under the lace overdress that I always have trouble getting on film when I wear it 💀

Back on my goth shit. I know this crop thing is kinda...flamenco? The fabric came from a dance costume maker so it probably was used for that but to me it feels like feathers! I feel like a little crow bopping around looking for roadkill. Dress and underskirt are thrifted, I made the crop thing, and platforms are Hot Topic.

Two posts today! Gotta make up for not posting yesterday. I made this top, dress, underskirt and belt are thrfited, platforms are Demonia. Going to dinner tonight for the husband's birthday with the family so wanted to be cute n goth. I miss Ren Fest already though and can't wait to go back next year!

In true dumbass fashion, I did not get any solo shots of my costume at the Ren Fest. I really need to be better about this stuff but I'm kind of awkward in photos so even though I really want nice pictures of my stuff, when my face is involved I just can't get it to do what I want 😅. Anyway, I'm super proud of this costume! If it's not obvious I'm the Dread Pirate Buttercup, a little twist on the Princess Bride. Most people knew what I was doing although I got Zorro a few times?? Which was funny, I even had a little bottle filled with glitter marked "iocane". All in all it was a good time and next year I will actually try and get some photos AT the event and not the morning after 💀

Fall! This dress kind of screams like witch in fall to me so I was trying to go on that. I had some fit block because I think all my creative energy has been going into costumes the last few days. But this is... well it's clothes on my body so we're off to a good start. Dress, shawl, and booties are thrfited and the corset was a gift from bestie. This dress gives me doll vibes so I just decided to lean into that. I woke up feeling like garbage this morning so I ended up sleeping in and my kitty was being such a sweet little cuddle bug. I slept for a few hours and finally felt better enough to get up and start the day. I made everything but the boots, which are thrifted. I'm working on some costumes for Ren Fest this weekend so no time to feel sick!! 👻
