Slowly crawling back

In case anyone has missed me over the past month, I've pretty much had a massive breakdown thanks to a shitload of stress. Basically school is doing real shitty and family situations are shitty too and because of school I've lost a lot of my friends so overall it's all been shitty. I have all replies I owe in my drafts box and am currently working on finishing the replies, if anyone still wants them that is. I understand very well if you'd all rather drop them or forget about me, I've been kind of an ass for suddenly dissapearing after all. Well, I'm gonna work on finishing these. My activity on here might not be as high as it used to be, blame school and my state of being ^^;

It's a Doggy Dog World

“Hm?” Levi stared at the dog and noticed how he was playing a little game of charades; he stood there a moment trying to process everything the dog was trying to tell him, “You want me to cut a hole in the clothes for your tail?” He asked to see if he got it right, he was never good at any sort of game. “Well, I suppose that would be the natural thing to do if I want you in clothes, huh? Alright, I’ll get cutting and sewing later, but for now, let’s get those teeth brushed.” He was glad to see how enthusiastic he was about learning how to speak properly again, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Walking into the bathroom, Levi took out an extra toothbrush from its package; he always had a spare just in case of emergencies and in this case he supposed this was an emergency. “Open your mouth and show me your teeth,” He ordered while he put the tooth paste on top, “I read somewhere not too long ago that dogs have cleaner mouths than humans, let’s see how much of that is true.” 

Upon inspecting the pup’s mouth is wasn’t so bad actually; sure he had some bad breath issues but nothing too serious. He knew people who just seriously didn’t ever brush either teeth and it was disgusting. 

“Hmmm.. I guess your owner wasn’t too bad when he/she was taking care of you. I wonder what happened to them that led you out in the streets.” He wondered a moment before he shook his head getting out of the sudden daze and got back into the task at hand. “See? Wasn’t so bad, right? C’mon, I have breakfast out in the kitchen.” He called after he finished teaching Eren how to rinse.  

He wasn’t so sure if he would dignify himself as an idiot for trying to have a conversation with the dog again, he questioned if Eren found him annoying, he didn’t think so. “I made eggs, bacon, toast and orange juice if you’re interested. In fact I was a little troubled to see what I should make you seeing that you’re half dog and half human and all.” He placed the plates on the counter and offered Eren a fork. “Eat up.” It didn’t even cross Levi’s mind to see if Eren needed any help using silverware.

He took a cup of coffee and drank it, “Do you like it here so far?”

The moment his new owner seemed to understand what he meant, the brunet nodded enthousiastically and the ears popping out from his head perked up. With his hands Eren pushed the boxers down a little, especially at the back, to keep it from pressing against his tail and trapping it. After that he obediently followed the raven to the bathroom and did as he was told, opening his mouth to show two rows of teeth, a few obviously sharper than human teeth, slightly yellowed but without cavities, which was quite surprising. 

At first the pup had not appreciated the intrusion, trying to push the toothbrush out of his mouth with his tongue and lapping the toothpaste off of his teeth. The taste didn't seem to bother him much though, and soon enough he realised resistance was futile and he just let the raven clean his teeth without any protest.

It didn't take long before Eren's nose had already found its way to the kitchen, Eren himself of course blindly following said nose to whatever was smelling so nice right now. Before touching anything of the food in front of him, the brunet had the decency to take some time to listen to Levi explaining him what this all was. He surely had seen humans eat it before, including his last 'owner', if you'd call him that., but never had he gotten the chance to taste it.

As soon as he was given permission to dig in, the pup bend over and took a bite of everything, combining the flavors in his mouth and feeling the urge to just drop down on his knees and kiss the raven's feet for letting him taste something so rich and amazing. Happily the brunet ate it all as fast as he possibly could, though still taking the time to let the flavors run across his tongue and enjoy them to their fullest. Eren tried to lick off the crumbs that were sticking to his face thanks to the butter on his skin. 

When Levi asked a question, Eren turned his head to look at him, noticing a bitter smell coming from the cup he was holding compared to the sweet smell coming from the glass of orange juice the pup had taken a few lick from, for as far as he could. Curious as to what the smell was, he made his way over to the raven, sniffing closer and closer to the cup as ears twitched along with his nose.

Heeding the boy’s words, Levi smirked. Yeah, that’s what he thought. Perhaps Eren would think twice next time before pulling this sort of stunt ever again. With rings finally in hand, the corporal slid himself from underneath his beloved’s white wedding dress, making sure he didn’t rip it as he tried to get out of the cave. Once again, connecting their hands together, the dark raven licked his lips as if indicating that he indeed enjoyed his cruel joke on the other. The priest coughed trying to get everyone’s attention as he heard almost everyone in the crowd just whisper to one another and laugh.

“Right, now let us continue..” He said as he adjusted his glasses again. “As the Lord bonds these two together..”

Levi almost complete forgot where he was since he was just chuckling at his so called revenge; he could easily see how embarrassed his new wife was too. To be honest, it was cute to him, to see him so flustered and red. 

“You may now place the rings in each other fingers.”

The corporal took a quick look at the old man and then back at Eren. He took the ring and placed it on the brunet’s ring finger while he said, “With this ring, I promise you a strong shoulder to cry on. I promise to hold and care for you whenever you need me. I promise to bring you comfort when you’re sad and to defend you to the last. I give you faith, trust and commitment unfailing. I promise to love you with every breath in my lungs and beat of my heart until the end of time. I promise that the only heart I own will always belong to you it will never beat for another as long as I love. I promise picnics in the summer and cozy night by the fire in winter. I promise to always cherish and appreciate you and everything you for rand to show you every day just how much you mean to me. I will always be your and you will always be mine. This I promise you.”

When the dress fell back in place and Levi got back in his sight again, Eren couldn't help but let out a relieved sigh that there was no continuation of that little payback, or at least not now. However when the raven's tongue darted out of his mouth to lick his lips, the red shade covering the boy's cheeks spread out across his entire face, embarassment highly obvious for anyone to see as that same hand went back to holding his own, and it surely had a calming effect on him.

Taking the ring from Levi, the brunet felt his own being slid onto his finger, a fit that might be a little too big, but it stayed in place perfectly and at least it wasn't too tight. With the years maybe it'd turn out to be the perfect fit, Eren now getting a good hold onto the ring in his other hand, slowly and carefully getting it on Levi's finger, binding them to each other. Hands trembling lightly, he listened to the words of his beloved and smiled. "You do know you've already fulfilled half of those promises, don't you?" 

Eren took a moment to take in all those words, figuring out what to say to his lover himself. Finally having figured it out, the smile on his face only turned brighter when he spoke. "I promise you... nothing. Because I will only show you."

The moan didn’t go unheard, oh no, Levi heard that very clearly, in fact he also heard his best friend Hange say, “Levi keep that behind closed doors!” And then laughter from the audience, if the corporal was blushing then his face was as red as a tomato now. However, this didn’t mean he was going to stand back a let Eren just fake a moan for his own enjoyment, oh no, if he was going to have such lewd noises come out of his mouth then they were going to be for real. Getting the second ring from the right garter, Levi placed the marital rings in his tux pocket.

Out of all things he could've done, Levi did the one thing Eren had not expected him to do. He probably deserved the payback though, but still he hadn't expected to get any payback right now! 

The boy took in a shaky breath, quickly biting his lower lip to keep the sound from spilling out of his mouth, but fuck was it difficult when the movements beneath his dress only got more and more stimulating and god, this was not the right time for such a thing, it had been way too long since the last time they'd done anything like this, it already was on the verge of being too much to handle.

Out of the visitors their view, Eren put a hand on Levi's that were now on his backside, covered by the fabric. "N-Not now, Levi..." He murmured quietly underneath his breath, praying it'd be enough for the raven to hear and no one else to listen along. The brunet bit on his lip a little harder, preparing just in case it'd get even worse.

The devious grin on the brunet’s face said quite enough besides the hinted clues that his lover was giving when he slightly lifted his gown to reveal his leg. Levi’s eyes widen in shock as he took his left foot and stepped back, surprised. The corporal’s eyes shifted to the corner to look at the old priest who was saying nothing, probably he was shocked as the raven but then his eyes landed right back to his lover, closing his gapped mouth. Nervously oh so nervously he listened carefully to hear some sort of chatter coming from the crowd but he found none, somewhere in the back of his mind he wished this was some kind of joke. He just couldn’t believe how bold his wife-to-be was being, sure he was a shameless hound but to this extent?  However, as a new man especially after saying his vows there was no way in hell he was going to back down.

Levi took a step forward and bent down on his left knee going under the brunet’s dress, a scarlet bright color could be seen on his face as he gulped some saliva he didn’t even know he was holding but he sucked it up. The raven slid his hand onto the boy’s thigh as it moved upward toward the brunet’s wedding garter where he could spot the rings; however, he stopped a little as he realized that each ring was wrapped around both garters! 

Oh, Levi was going to get his revenge, sweet sweet revenge.

Eren's grin only grew larger as the raven got on his knees, lifting the dress to disappear beneath the silky fabric. A hand sliding up his leg sent shivers down his spine, feeling his legs tremble lightly as fingers reached the first wedding garter.

As if the situation wasn't bad enough, the brunet let his hand hover above the dress, higher than where the raven's head was, but it'd do. With a noticable jolt of his body, Eren made his breath hitch loudly, followed by a soft moan, of course giving everyone there a very wrong impression of what was going on.

"What are you doing down there~?" The same purring sound, clearly this was still part of the boy's little scheme. "The rings are on the garters." As if that hadn't been clear yet. By now Eren had decided the teasing had been more than enough, twisting his legs slightly so Levi could take the rings off a lot easier, his skin feeling every little touch and bit of fiddling with the ribbons keeping the rings tied to the garters.

His words were like beautiful lyrics in a serenade; Levi listened to every word that came out of Eren’s mouth as he squeezed his wife to be hands little here and there as he spoke. The brunet’s adoring smile, that glistening of his vile that made his hair color stand out more, and not to mention the amazing designs on the wedding dress itself. Eren looked like a princess, his princess to be exact; all he wanted to do was kiss his beloved right then and there. The guests were silent the entire time, even the priest took a moment to recompose himself as he adjusted his glasses as he continued to read on from his book.

“You may now place the marital rings.” He stated as he closed his book in hand.

Levi looked over at Armin who clearly held the ring pillow; however, as he stared at the blond closely he could see the rings weren’t visible at all. This not only made the raven haired corporal question the situation but he stared at Eren to see if he knew anything about it.

“Do you have the rings?” The priest questioned as he looked at the two.

Well, what was he supposed to say? I don’t know you have to ask Armin? The priest would never buy that nor would he accept it. It was at this time that Levi felt so nervous, and didn’t know how to explain himself.

It wasn't until the confusion on the raven's face showed did the blond realise he hadn't been told of Eren's weird, little scheme yet. Trying to hint at what was happening, Armin signed over to Eren with his eyes as the brunet let his foot peek out from beneath the dress, wiggling it as a smug grin appeared on his face. 

"I might already be wearing the rings, daaarling~" Eren spoke with a low purr as he tugged the dress up a little, hoping it was enough of a hint. From the looks people were giving him, they got the hint by now. As the final cherry on top of the cake, the young male slid his free hand over the fabric of the dress, right where the rings where beneath the layer of fabric. 

"Though if you reeeally want them, you'll have to come and get them~" That same tone in his voice, it was obvious Eren was having a whole lot of fun teasing the raven like this.

Levi stood by the alter just waiting and talking to a few of the best men, the priest stood there with a book in hand, putting on his reading glasses and getting ready to go as well. Just a little bit more and they would be married, the chatter among the crowd was loud as everyone was taking their seats, talking the time away, that is until someone spotted the bride and hushed the guests. The corporal looked toward the red carpet that made a path to the entrance of the HQ building and there walking was Eren. The raven’s eyes widen in shock, he looked absolutely gorgeous! Stunning, a sight that took his breath away, he just couldn’t believe how beautiful he looked, despite his rather large stomach he was still able to turn heads.

Mikasa was walking him down while Armin held the pillow rings, the corporal was so mesmerized he didn’t even notice the fact the rings were on the object. Once Eren made his way toward him, the oriental handed the brunet to the raven which he gladly took, hell, he didn’t even know when he started to hold his breath.

“We are gathered here today in order to bond two souls together under the eyes of god.”

All the while the priest was talking, Levi displayed this wide smile across his face, he held his beloved’s hands tightly as he simply just stared at those teal orbs of his well, whatever he could see through the veil that is.

“Now do the either of you have anything to say before I go on?” The priest asked as he stared at the two. 

"I do." Levi said never once glancing away from his bride.

Their hands touched, fingers tightly wrapping around Eren's hand as he copied the movement with his own, feeling the warmth it created and returning a smile of his own, even if it wasn't all that noticable. Throughout the whole moment of the priest his words, the brunet didn't even dare to let go off those hands, rubbing his thumb over the back and humming a soft tune as he watched his beloved closely.

And then suddenly, Eren was faced with Levi's own words. Words he'd want to catch and put away safely in his heart, never to forget how they were spoken to him, how they reached the very core of his being and the deepest part of his soul.

"You've always known your way with words, and I hope you don't mind me returning you a few of my own."

Hands let go of the pair that kept them warm, grabbing onto the veil and pushing it backwards to reveal his face. "When I came here, I came to fight a battle many thought we were unable to win, not knowing what I turned out to be. We might not have started on the best foot, seeing as yours was in my face and all, but still I couldn't bring myself to do anything less but admire you as my superior. If I had known by then it was going to go beyonf admiration, I don't know what I'd have done to be honest."

"But... today I didn't come here to fight a battle. I didn't walk this path as a soldier, but as a man who might have the most luck in this cruel yet beautiful world. I came here as one half of a set, to be completed with the last piece very soon. But most of all, I came here as your bride, I came here for you, you and no one else."

"Keep it up, it’s going to happen. I’ll refuse to sleep you, eat with you, walk beside you, but I guess if you need space you can just say so."
