Another battle with krita. drew my catgirl homunculus

why the hell are all the brushes so crazy pressure sensitive..

Tried Krita. It pissed me off so bad i went through my search history to find the sai brushes i lost lol

Why the hell do i need to go through 2 menus just to bind a hotkey to a brush... Also who the hell thought that the default brush hotkeys should be ctrl+alt+[number]. That takes two hands to press

And overall it just felt uncomfortable and frustrating. That might as well be growing pains but god... I really don't give sai enough credit for how straightforward it is.

Well, at least now i guess i have a program on the side that can do different color models and has gradient maps (maybe liquify tool too?)

My sai2 settings file got corrupted or something, so i lost my new brushes :(

Luckily i had a backup file from the time i updated windows version so i didn't lose them all, at least

Maybe i should get a proper program instead of continuing to draw in the free beta version

I've been thinking of giving krita another go but my experience with it was so frustrating back then that I'm a bit scared to try lol. However that was lik... 10 years ago?? Surely they've improved

What they don't tell you about putting noise filter onto your art is that it makes the image file gigantic. Like, the noiseless version is about 2,6 MB and this one is a whopping 9+ MB. That's the second biggest file in my whole time drawing digitally. Dwarfed only by one piece from a time period where i would start every artwork with a 5000x5000 pixel canvas

I've been actually drawing Made this redraw of an oldass Oleg pic i actually drew this for printing a collectible card but i did the background in the card-sized canvas. So if i upload it, it will be shitty and pixelated
