Things you shouldn't say to someone struggling with infertility

1) if you can’t get pregnant I’ll carry a baby for you! No no no no. This isn’t just about the end result for me/us. I don’t want just a baby I want a pregnancy. I want to feel the life my husband and I created inside me. I want to have all the experiences that you get while pregnant.

2) you’ll understand when you are pregnant /a parent. Well thanks for reminding me that I don’t/can’t have kids. You’re really sweet for doing that said no one ever!

3) well maybe it’s just not meant to be. Yeah and maybe you’re just a dick.

4) are you sure you’re ready for a baby/you’re so young enjoy life. I’m trying to enjoy life and one of the ways I’ll be able to do that is if you stay out of my uterus!

5) shouldn’t you be more financially stable? I’m a full believer in if you wait for the right time you’ll be waiting forever. I do think there are times that might be better then others but that’s not a good enough reason for me to stop try to get to where I want to go!

It’s more of the fact that my mum recently had a stroke, so money is pretty tight, but I’d rather not go into that, sorry! We’ll be using birth control from now on, as condoms are very uncomfortable for me. But thank you for your concern, it means a lot!

Ok ladies and gents! I’m going to share something amazing with ya’ll. So there’s this amazing app called “Handpick” where you enter the ingredients that you have or want to use, and it comes up with recipes for those ingredients! Being vegan myself, it’s been a life saver (I’m new at it)! I love the recipes and they’re generally fairly easy to make!
