Various Items

The past 2 weeks:

I got maternity clothes! I bought them used as I cannot see spending a ton on new clothes for 8 months (including after birth here...). I scored the jackpot though! A lady gave me 18 items for $15! ALL good condition and one with tags! I ended up giving her $25 because she deserved the extra with doing such a nice thing for me. 

I started a generic registry until we really know what we need. I need to go through the attic to see whats usable and not. Also depends on gender... 

Baby’s doing good and growing on target, I’ll be at my regular OB on Thursday.

My stomach is huge already likely due to it being my 2nd and my tilted uterus.

Side note... I’ve been considering a 3rd? I might be crazy right now... but if we do, it’d be without fertility treatment and just letting things happen, so if it did, it did, if it didnt, we’re ok with 2... (provided my hubs gets a boy as he wants one otherwise we’re probably going a tad more aggressive for 3?) My daughter wants a sister... i just want a healthy baby!

Week 12

Weight: 119. Finally gained back to what I originally was!

Current cravings: fried shrimp, hot fudge sundae, pretzel with cheese... Nothings changed

I got more healthy snacks in and I'm trying to limit the sugar... I've been having some cola sometimes to help with headaches.

Week 11

Weight: around 117 still

Figured out it was the dha making me super ill.... Stopped and now I can eat!

Current cravings: fried shrimp, hot fudge sundae, pretzel with cheese

Side note my food aversions started after taking it so I am stopping it for a couple days to see if that's the actual cause. My prior kid was fine without it... And my prior ob said the pills I was taking were fine sooooo

I managed to find 2 other safe foods currently. Fried shrimp and tator tots. Not the healthiest but at least it's something.

Week 10

Weight 176.6

I've been sick still. Congested... Nothings working.

Oh and now I have food aversions. NOTHING sounds good. Literally forcing myself to eat and feeling gross after...

I managed a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast today and made sure I picked up the 2x protein cream cheese so I at least get some nutrients in...

I'm trying to think of lunch and everything I'd making me want to gag. Although I'm not nauseous at all... Food just doesn't sound appealing. Anytime I do actually crave something I eat it right away so it doesn't go away and I get food in my belly.

I picked up English muffins also and applesauce... I'm hoping I can stomach dinner tonight. Ham and scalloped potatoes.

Week 9

Weigh 176.6 according to the dr's.

I don't really have symptoms except for being sick feeling and nauseous if I don't eat when hungry! Jolly ranchers have been a savior.

In the past week I've had the stomach bug and people at work have the flu.

Baby is measuring well. I got a flu shot today and feel terrible. 6 vials of blood. Apparently I've been taking too much vitamin d (for my osteopenia) so I could have been harming the baby so they're gonna recheck my levels. They're upset with how my last birth went... And are ok with advocating for me for a vbac. Provided that it's safe of course! That makes me super happy. They're also not happy that my postpartum was not addressed last time so have flagged me for that when the time comes which has be reassured. So happy I changed obs!

High risk appt in 3 weeks.

Let it be known.

I am not crunchy.

I will not be cloth diapering. I believe in vaccination with all my own health issues. I tried baby wearing my last, didnt work... I'll try again, but it won't be the death of me.

I was unsuccessful in breastfeeding my last, but pumped. I'll try again, but again... Not going to be the death of me.

I will deliver in a hospital high risk and will take meds as needed. I need comfort too. My baby will not sleep in my bed, same room though at least for a few months.

Sorry if that's not what you're hoping or believe but that's my thoughts. Being a spoonie is hard. Being a spoonie mom is harder. I need to take care of myself and my baby and keep my sanity and this works for me.

Flaring

Why yes. Of course I am. Not terrible yet but symptoms prior to injection day... Might need to increase the frequency just a tad or maybe it's just something I ate.

Side note. I got authorization to stop the progesterone but I never had blood drawn so I'm nervous about stopping?! Ughhh

Week 8

Weight: still fluctuating between 117 and 119

Saw the bean/bloop today. Heartbeat was 175! I got released from Fertility and on to my ob next week.

Other than fatigue I feel pretty good! Hungry all the time. Craving unos deep dish pizza... Getting that tomorrow night!!

Week 7 Weight: fluctuating since I've let myself cheat some days and constipation :( one day it was 117 another 119. Slacked on water intake for a bit too. Friday I was super moody. No real changes still not feeling super pregnant. Just been silently making lists of things... Like food for our sprinkle lol I did tell my boss! He's super happy and we're going to have a meeting to go over things. I have over a page of things to discuss...

Week 6

Behind again...

Weight :118.6 bloat? I've been eating good!

Symptoms : exhausted, half a cup size larger already, no morning sickness again! *crosses fingers*

Finally getting rid of my cold. I want to eat everything already which is terrible :(

First scan tomorrow!!

Oh and my sister is pregnant too? Was kinda hoping to be pregnant alone this go round. Happy for her though! Although annoyed it took her a whopping 2 fucking weeks of trying.
