I had always wondered what Alpha Bro Dave was like in the Alpha Kids' session. Because Dirk would refer to Lil Cal as the real guardian over Alpha Bro. Even if he knew that his Alpha Bro would face ICP and die by Her Imperious Condesce's hands, he still favors Lil Cal. Why though? It can't just play up the joke of the usual guardians acting strange or weird to their child like it was played up in earlier acts. That would imply Dirk had to have been with Alpha Bro for some time to really know him. And that Alpha Bro Dave's must have done something to make Dirk think he was not the greatest. Alpha Dave couldn't have left Dirk that alone at too young of an age. And it be a weirder implication if LIL CAL was the one raising like Bec does for Jade Harley. Part of me likes to think if Bro Strider was considered abusive towards Dave, then Alpha Bro Dave would have been something like this to Dirk Strider. If not physically abusive, then emotionally neglectful.
