agree with all your takes when it comes to modern methods of breeding/slaughtering animals, but how do you feel about it when its done in a natural and respectful way? we are part of nature, and we are hunter gatherers. cultures who still do this recognize the animal as a living, feeling being, and they use as much of the animal as possible. in a society where this is the only acceptable way to consume other animals, and is also the only feasible way to survive, how could it be bad? (sorry for long ramble... ignore if you want of course)

MY VIEW IS CONSISTENT ACROSS ALL ANIMALS(: I OPPOSE ALL ANIMAL EXPLOITATION. SHELLFISH ARE ANIMALS AND THEIR CONSUMPTION INVOLVES EXPLOITATION. THE WORDS WE USE ("SEAFOOD" OR "GAME" OR "MEAT". ETC) JUST CREATE A PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTANCE BETWEEN US AND THE REALITY OF WHAT WE ARE CONSUMING. THEY MAKE US FORGET THAT BEHIND THE "PRODUCT"/"DISH" WAS A LIVING INDIVIDUAL WHO VALUED THEIR LIFE AND DID NOT CONSENT TO HAVING IT TAKEN AWAY FOR SOMEONES PLEASURE
