HEY LOVES!!! Let's talk about some of our favorite shows and which one of your fave artist won't be on Instagram for a while. We got the tea!

JUSSIE SMOLLET HAS NO CLOSET

If you’re like me, then every Wednesday night at 9:00 pm, you are glued in front of your tv to watch the newest episode of Empire. The hottest show on television right now, whose viewership grows every week, is so addictive! You have a favorite when watching the show; whether it’s egotistical and selfish Luscious, the tough and no-nonsense Cookie, manipulative yet gorgeous Anika or the super talented Jamal. Jussie Smollet who plays R&B crooner and Luscious and Cookie’s middle son, Jamal, has become a fan favorite for his bravery in standing up to his father and talent in the songs he delivers every week. In a recent episode, Jamal bravely “comes out” to the world as gay to his father’s disappointment at their company’s infamous White Party. Switching out the lyrics to one of his father’s hit songs, Jamal sang, “This is the kind of song that makes a man love a man, a man love a man,” .

In real life, when asked about his preference, Smollet has stated that he rather keep that side of his life private. In recent weeks, fellow co-star, Malik Yoba who plays Luscious’ right hand man Vernon said that Smollet was in fact gay. While many came to Smollet’s defense and claimed that Yoba had no right to air out Smollet’s personal business, Yoba said he did not do it in a malicious way.

While on this week’s episode of Ellen, the comedian and Smollet talked backstage where he confirmed Yoba’s recent remarks. Smollet wanted to also let it be known that his preference was never a secret, just something that those who knew him personally had knowledge of.   “So that’s why I choose not to talk ‘bout my personal life. But there is without a doubt, no closet that I’ve ever been in, and I just wanted to make that clear,” Jussie told Ellen.  I LOVE HIM! Can we be friends please, Jussie??

 IGGY AZALEA HAS LEFT SOCIAL MEDIA..KINDA

It seems like every other week someone is trying Iggy Azalea! She constantly deals with those who can’t stand the fact that she’s a top charting female rapper, her relationship with NBA player Nick Young and just recently, she had to go off on pizza chain, Papa John’s via social media because one of their workers texted her phone. She was so upset with the incident and ranted about it to her followers. Now this week, the rapper has decided to quit Instagram for a while (she left Twitter a week earlier).

Friday, an Instagram post went up on her page stating that management would be taking over the account while Iggy takes a break. But is she only taking a break from social media or everything? According to reports, Iggy hasn’t been in touch with her team and management which comes as a surprise since she is gearing up for a national tour! Is Iggy letting the stress of the industry get in the way of her engagements?

WHO WILL BE THE NEXT CO-HOST ON “FASHION POLICE”?

After the derogatory remarks that were made on E!’s Fashion Police about actress, Zendaya Coleman’s hair at this year’s Oscars, co-host Kelly Osbourne has decided to leave the show. As one of the original cast members, Osbourne has said her fair share of shady remarks about the entertainment industry’s starlets but she was not at all please with fellow co-host and E! News correspondent, Guiliana Rancic’s remarks about her friend. When it was Zendaya’s turn for criticism regarding her look for the evening, Rancic remarked that Zendaya looked as if she smelled of weed and patchouli oil, making fun of her faux dreads. Kelly was upset about the remarks because a few takes were done of the segment and she repeatedly asked Guiliana not to say the comment.

As the episode aired, many viewers were deeply upset by the host’ remarks some saying it was racist. Rancic apologized via Twitter and Osbourne let it be known that she was not okay with what was said and that the proper handling needed to occur toward the manner. Zendaya issued a statement on her feelings about the insensitive remarks and Guiliana issued a recorded apology the next day. However, this wasn’t enough for Kelly and she announced her departure from the show.

Well what is Fashion Police to do now? Kelly’s departure comes at a crucial time since the season has just begun and there are two new hosts for the show. So now the replacement factor is an issue. Who will take the spot? Rumors are going around that Khloe Kardashian and Nene Leakes are the top choices to join the show. Both ladies are known to speak their mind, have their own clothing lines and are a part of reality tv. Who would you like to see join the cast?

Brielle Blabs It All is back!! This week let’s get into one of the major award shoes of the season and the unfortunate news dealing with Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter.

The 2015 Grammy Awards

The Grammys were this past Sunday and they were actually good! Sometimes with the more popular award shoes, they can be a bit stuffy and not appeal to everyone. This year’s show left me entertained to say the least. There was so much that happened, too much to write!

·         Usual red carpet show stoppers including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj were very demure and classy this time around; loved their looks!

·         LL Cool J hosted the show for the fourth time!

·         Beyonce took home 3 awards this year.

·         Kanye West almost “Kanyed” the artist, Beck when he won “Album of the Year” over Beyonce by pretending to interrupt his moment when accepting his award as he felt Beyonce deserved to win.

·         Beyonce performed “Precious Lord” while many felt it was a snub to the artist, Ledisi who sang the song in the film, “Selma”.

·         Kim Kardashian and Beyonce were photographed together. The first in 3 years and since many thought they weren’t on good terms since The Carters didn’t attend the wedding of The Wests.

·         Rihanna, Paul McCartney and Kanye West performed “Four Five Seconds”.

·         Sam Smith won 4 awards.

·         Madonna debuted her new song, “Living for Love” with a performance.

·         Stevie Wonder gave a surprise performance with Usher.

·         President Barack Obama made a pre-recorded appearance to speak out against domestic violence.

Told you that a lot happened! And that’s not even all of the performances! Kudos to the Grammys for getting it right this year except for that Beyonce diss (you know that I had to say something about that #Beyhive)! What was your favorite/worst part of the Grammys this year?

Bobbi Kristina Found Unconscious

On January 27th, it was unfortunately reported that legendary music icon, Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Browns daughter; Bobbi Kristina was found almost lifeless in her Atlanta home by her boyfriend. Under strange circumstances, the young women was found in a bathtub, unconscious, in the same state that her mother was 3 years ago. Due to not being found soon enough, Bobbi Kristina lost too much oxygen and has been put in an induced coma being added by machines. While there is no brain activity currently going on, the difficult decision of whether or not to take her off life support is in the air to be decided amongst the Brown and Houston families.

There are many speculations of foul play to be considered as there were bruises found upon Bobbi Kristina’s body and police are now leading an investigation, questioning her boyfriend Kyle Gordon. It has also been confirmed by Bobby Brown that his daughter and Gordon weren’t officially married as the media was referring to Gordon as her husband. The speculation was made this year after the couple showed off their rings to TMZ.

Of course with grief, sadly comes drama. There have been reports of arguments between the two families and fights between The Browns. Recently as today, there have been talk that the families will let the doctors “pull the plug” on Bobbi Kristina at midnight to allow her passing to coincide with the date of her mother’s passing. A definite sad and terrible situation for these families but everyone including. #PrayforBobbiKristina

FIRST PAIGE GLAM

Happy Monday ! This week my tips are for your makeup and hair! One thing I love experimenting with is eyeliner colors so I always have an assortment of eye liners. Another thing I cant live without is shinny long hair, I have a trick to always have sleek healthy hair!

Sometimes when you buy eyeliner it seems to only go one good the first few times and then wears out. Well a great trick is to take a lighter and burn the end of the eyeliner. Let it melt a little bit and the next time you use it you will have the perfect smudge! No need to go out a buy a brand new one!

Next silky hair can be tough to get especially in the summer with the beach and the pool drying it out. Also these harsh winters can dry your hair out. I used to drench my hair in olive oil, wrap it in plastic wrap and then sleep with that on my head. (I know it sounds crazy haha). Now I mix 2 egg yolks with 2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 cup of water. Massage this into your scalp and leave on for 20 minutes. Rise off and enjoy luscious locks. This mixture is supposed to help it grow also!
