Tucker "Tuck" Cordwell. Slave.

Prefers to go by "Tuck"|37|Gay Tuck comes from an abusive home situation, his mother having only married his father for money. After escaping his home life on his high school graduation day, Tuck lost all contact with his mother and worked as a mechanic. A year ago, he was snatched off the streets late at night and taken to Covaire. Part of him is convinced he deserves to be in Covaire, even if the thought bothers him.

[After being stuck in his cell for most of the day, Tuck decides to take advantage of the one hour a day the slaves are allowed out.  A year in Covaire has given him the opportunity to get to know the grounds around the chateau well, along with being decent enough at avoiding attention.  Once he navigates his way around to his usual spot - quiet, peaceful, where he can think (not that it's always a good thing) - Tuck stops and exhales slowly, closing his eyes for a second.]

//Gale let out a low laugh// I would advise you to never offer such a thing to me, I tend to pry a lot. //She watches him careful as he settles back, getting comfortable she would say.// Well, I suppose it’s a reason like any other, but yes complaining might not be the best way to get attention, but I’ve seen worse. And what kind of master or mistress do you hope getting interested in you?

I guess I could always let you know if the question's something I don't want to answer.  [Tuck smiles just slightly, making himself more comfortable before he replies.  He takes a moment, really considering the question.]  Master, preferably...but I suppose preferences don't mean that much when it comes to slaves.  A year here hasn't made me too picky with the one that gets interested in me, but not being tortured or anything on a daily basis would be nice.  So a, uh, "nice" one, I guess?

Optimism is always helpful. I doubt anything bad will happen to you though, you seem too nice. [Chuckles] Actually, you’re very nice, it’s kinda refreshing. How old are you?

No real reason to be anything but nice.  Besides, being a rude shit to people is less likely to get me out of my cell.  [Tuck shrugs.]  I'm 37, actually.  Recently turned that, actually.  What about you?

A year? Well then, I can confirm you are good at keeping attention off you. And a year without master or mistress to claim you. And you seem somehow ‘healthy’, this is quite impressive considering… And why the sudden need to make yourself know? If you do not mind me asking.

I don't mind.  Go ahead and ask whatever you want.  [Tuck shrugs and then he offers a little smile, fingers roughly pushing through his dark hair before he settles back against the wall behind him.]  Boredom, I guess, although complaining probably isn't the best way to get attention.

Basically. Good, because that’s how you’re going to survive here. [Bryce grins] Fun fact, sometimes having a fighter’s spirit can get you claimed. I mean, it’s worked for me.

Either that or it could blow up in my face horribly.  [Tuck chuckles a little.]  I guess I'll try to look at it all optimistically until something bad happens, though.

I'm glad to hear it, Charlotte.  [Tuck offers her a grin before he leans over to look at the wallpaper she shows him.]  Nice.  It seems like you have it pretty good with your master.  Always feel like it's a bit rare here, but maybe I just haven't heard a lot of the good stuff.

Yeah, give them a smile and then kill them with compliments. If you make their egos grow, they’ll like you. Just don’t roll over for them, have some dignity for yourself.

So basically just kill them with kindness.  I think I could do that easily enough.  [Tuck shakes his head a bit.]  I have no intention of just rolling over for anybody, ever.

Yeah, that doesn’t sound too fun. Being out of the cells is great. I can run, and not worry about mean guards. You should try to get rented, it’ll give you a little preview of the freedom you’ll get.

Not fun at all.  [Tuck starts to laugh.]  Well, I guess I could always lay on the little bit of charm I have.  Just flash a grin or something.  And probably not complain about my current situation, huh?

I’m sure someone will come by and find interest in you. Um, yeah I managed to catch someone’s eye. Apparently, I was good enough for him to claim me.

Hopefully.  I don't want to wither away in the cells, personally.  [Tuck's smile is a little bit joking, however.]  Well, I'm glad to hear it.  I imagine getting out of here is probably a pretty nice feeling.

Would we know if we went crazy? Sometimes I wonder if I’m insane. I’m sorry though. I don’t want to make cell life unbearable for you. I know it’s not easy, but it can be a little easier sometimes. Especially you know when someone wants you.
