for some basic rules that most card games have: some sort of version of power/ toughness on the card, name and card art obviously, and some sort of cost to cast. Don't just make stuff free, It can get really annoying, take for example Yu-Gi-Oh. decks have gotten so fast overtime because there isn't much of a cost to cast anything.

also there should be some sort of method for requiring cards, instead of just saying you own it now. also once you have a card you should be able to use it in infinite different decks at once.

I think every card could have HP for itself as well. About cost, we could make it use notes.

Every turn each player gets 3 notes, as well as some cards can give you notes, and you need notes so that cards can join the game. Also you need to infuse cards with notes to be able to use certain attacks (im thinking like energy from pokeTCG)

But we should also maybe cap the amount of actions per turn (that could be used for attacking, infusing, or summoning a card)

I'd be interested in helping work with this blog, also I feel like copying a lot of the rules from magic the gathering would work, I also like a lot of the ideas used in the game kindergarten 2, and their card game. there's also stuff like the hermitcraft trading card game to pull from, is also really interesting. although there should be some sort of main focus, and each of these games has their own goals. maybe it's kill all the opponent's cards, maybe it's killed the opponent themselves, and the cards are but mere pawns. maybe the idea is to out last them in an ever intenser storm, where you have the option to either build yourself up with incredible defenses, or tear your opponent down as fast as you can. also since it is based on Tumblr, there should be a lot of wizard stuff, since the wizard side of Tumblr is epic. also make it incredibly queer, and let any community member submit art for cards, as well as submitting card ideas, or a mostly complete card that only needs slight balance tweaks

Also i will let you come up with the rules and explain to me since im not well versed in TCG.

I think we could have a couple of multiple possible goals (like for example how UT has both HP and spare)

1) simple, easy, kill the oposing player (cards as pawns)

2)QP- aside from HP you have Queer Points. Once you have enough you could maybe either spend them on transitioning (replace 1 card on table with another one) or save them to win or something.

Or maybe QP will be just for queer stuff and not also a game goal idk im not a tcg designer

Some more ideas to be thrown out there,

Each card has 1 effect (that is elaborated upon in the description, and 0-3 attacks that, depending on their strength require more notes. Also, a tag card tag called "posts that have 10,000 notes to me" that doubles your notes.

Another idea: comment conflict | comment mob (effect pending)

Maybe we can sort cards depending if they are a note thing (comments, tags, rbs etc), a blog itself (like combustion wizard), or a tumblr legend (its quick, its easy and its free! Pouring river water in yout socks!)
