“You’re welcome at least-” she was wondering why this man appeared to be irritated? Not irritated more like impatient?

“I assumed you were my best friend; you look identical to Tobias. Okay, why are you surveying the apartment?”

Force? Yup, you have entered into the wrong reality.

Livvie grew provoked by this person. “Okay, you’ve seen many Star Wars films,” she wisecracks at the man in front of her.

“I do appreciate your cooperation,” Anakin reconfirmed, attempting to mollify his mood and reel back his other emotions.

“That’s not something I hear very often.” He paused, but only briefly. “As I said before, Jedi business.”

That was usually enough to get others to cooperate, that or reveal which side their on. But nothing particular emanated from her on the matter.

His brows drew in confusion. “I don’t know what you mean by Star Wars films. I wouldn’t be here if the matter wasn’t of importance.”

Livvie unlocked the door and took notice of the stranger. This man looked just like Tobias. “Tobias? Oh, you’re not- Jedi business? You can come in.”

She grew quiet as she closed the door behind him.

“… .”

Her phone buzzed, and she grabbed it out of her pocket and began to stare at the text message. Tristian 🤬🚯

Liv, I need your help. I know you don’t want anything to do with me.

Quickly, she replied and let out an annoyed sigh. Not now, Tristian, please leave me alone.

Was it the right thing to let a stranger inside her house?

His brow rose at the momentary confusion between himself and another, but he nodded his thanks and entered soon after.

Anakin too a moment to survey her home. Nothing abnormal jumped out at him.

“You seem rather calm letting a stranger inside your home,” he remarked, attempting to get a read on the girl.

Annoyed as well, yet he left that part uncommented on. Some things just weren’t his business.

“I know it’s late so I’ll get straight to the point. I felt a disturbance in the Force and it not only led me to this planet, but to you as well.”

He turned to face her. “Have any ideas on why that is?”

Once the tears stopped, she wiped her face and sighed softly. The necklace was still in her hand. Mom, what am I supposed to do? Livvie stared at the window; she could feel something, but what was it?

Was it Dante or her ex-husband trying to get more money away from her? She walked to close the door. Livvie couldn’t bring herself to open the door. She looked through her peephole. It was a little too early to be trick or treating, or was it a cosplayer? Her phone buzzing made her jump—stupid telemarketers. It would appear this person was not going to leave—Livvie gathering up the courage to say something. “Can I help you?”

Nice one, Livvie.

Anakin waited at the door, taking a breath and allowing all his inner conflicts to fade into the background. Now wasn’t the time to permit his emotions to overtake. Pushing them down seemed all too common for him, no matter the continuous struggle.

The sudden sound on the other side didn’t overly concern him, the light buzzing easily overlooked. Although Anakin was tired, and perhaps in more need of sleep than he realized, his features didn’t indicate any exhaustion. “Sorry to disturb you, but I’m here on official Jedi business. I don’t intend to take more than a few moments of your time,” he announced. Not much was known about Earth, yet the planet didn’t seem to have any involvement in the war. At least, nothing known by the Council.
