I'll be honest, I have no idea what INTJ or INFJ means. I'm assuming, personality type. I'm happy to read everything you wanna write. Even if I can't add anything to it :) //

Oh sorry I should have explained ;-; but thanks for reading it anyways! Yes, mbti (myers-briggs) personality types consist of 16 different personality types (https://www.16personalities.com/personality-types). It helps to understand why people behave the way they do and make the decisions they make.

For Alex, he's been typed as an INTJ on the personality database --

Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. Known as the "Architect" or "Strategist," this rare personality type is highly analytical, independent, and forward-thinking. They excel at understanding complex systems, creating long-term plans, and valuing logic over emotion in their pursuit of efficiency and continuous self-improvement

Sounds like it could be right. For a lot of his career, he has been very forward-thinking and has prioritized long-term success. But I honestly think he is an INFJ --

Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging is the rarest Myers-Briggs personality type, often called the "Advocate" or "Counselor". They are deeply empathetic, creative, and value-driven visionaries who balance a rich inner life with a strong desire to make a meaningful, positive impact on the world

It doesn't seem to make sense at first, but my main reason for why Alex is an INFJ is because of his desire to help other people, especially his friends. It's just not obvious because I don't think most people see him as this kind of person. BUT there's a lot of evidence that this is the case. What do y'all think? :)

what do you think Alex's mbti is? when you look it up, it comes up as INTJ on personality database, but im embarrased to admit that i've done a lot of research into it and i think he's actually an INFJ that presents more as an INTJ. the reason this is so interesting is because I feel like at face value, a lot of ppl would never think he's an INFJ

my evidence:

he's obviously an introvert so there's the I

the Ni is because he operates on intuition. there's a quote from the car press that supports this: "I think we're still listening to the same voice inside, that instinct, that we were in 2005." (radio x)

Thinking (T) vs Feeling (F) functions are the hardest to decipher. I used to think T but after really looking into Alex's career...it seems like he does a lot of things a stereotypical INTJ wouldn't do (like TLSP lol). He also has said before that songwriting is about feelings (so perhaps he uses the Feeling function as a benefit to his songwriting).

And then the J is for judging. He's a judging person. There's lots of evidence of this, such as how he judges other artists ("there will always be shitty pop music", "pop music has become too predictable" there's better examples but i couldn't find the quotes) and how he wants to avoid being judged by others (reluctant to share his words at first, uses personas to hide his true self).

ya...I have more evidence (!) but i'd like to hear your thoughts :-)

Responding to some of your AM hot takes; I agree that much of AM is about Alexa, not Arielle (although, is this a hot take)? But here's my hotter take; Snap Out of It is a song about Alexa reaching out to Alex telling him he's out of his mind with Arielle and telling him she's patiently waiting for him. Alex just changed the personal pronouns to be consistent. The music video implies it is from a female pov with a woman unable to stop obsessing over an ex. Thoughts!?

Well, gosh, it’s extremely difficult for me to choose a top five favorite songs. I have so many, but they’ve slipped my mind right now. I’ll try to name the five I remember from my heart.

Five of my favorite songs, not exactly in order, but gathered as unforgettable 💃 (sorry to those I can’t remember at the moment) :

“Batphone” by Arctic Monkeys (no surprise, hehe 🙈);

“La Foule” by Édith Piaf (one of my favorite songs and my Nonna’s too);

“Je t’aime moi non plus” by Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin (I could never forget it);

“It’s Hard to Get Around the Wind” by Alex (yeah, absolutely. Je t’aime, @ mon amour 💋);

“Little Rain” by The Rolling Stones (I remembered this one at the last minute. I love the atmosphere of the song).

I’ll only add one more song to my list, because this one in particular I can’t leave out...

“Amazing Grace” sung by Judy Collins (I love it, love it, love it. I grew up listening to this song. And it’s forever ♡).
