Piece of advice. Listen to the whole album first before watching the MV. I promise listening to it has a totally different feel than watching the MV. YG artists are first and foremost MUSICIANS. If you're going to judge them at least have the decency to judge them after listening to their album first and not only after watching the MVs for the first time. What is great about #iKON songs is that it gets better the more you listen to it. Also if you watch the MV on YT, ignore the bitchy and whiny comments. They want a lot of things. If there's anything I learned from being a YG Stan for such a long time, it is that everything happens in YG Sajangnim's own time. So calm your t*ts people. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" Gabriel Garcia Marquez Rating: A galaxy of stars because there is no other book like this. I feel like I owe this book a review after spending more than a year struggling to finish it. It took me so long to finish not because it was bad, but because I was lost. I was lost among the Jose Arcadio's, Aureliano's, Remedios, and Amaranta Ursula's. Most of the time I was confused as to who's who---and I feel like giving up on it. To leave it unfinished. But then, there's just something about the way it was written that kept me going on. It was beautiful and sad and so full of heart. Even if half the time I'm confused about the characters, I also got lost with the intensity of each chapter. Every story was fascinating. This book appeals to the heart and the way Marquez describes love is just, ugh! (really, i'm quite at a loss to describe my feelings) The feeling of reading this book is so hard to explain, it is full of melancholy, and also haunting, and sometimes so happy and full of love, and sometimes just plain tragic---I just know that I cried after reading THAT last sentence. Books + Bargain = Happy Hafsa. Got these babies for almost 1/3 of the original price. There's just something about pre-loved books that I love, not just because they're cheaper but because they have more character. I love finding books on second-hand shops with writings on them, or some receipt folded within the pages. I guess it's just great to know that we are not alone. PS. The books also came with bookmarks. Isn't that adorbs? Can't tag the original owner, but to all of you book lovers out there, THANK YOU FOR LOVING YOUR BOOKS AND TAKING CARE OF THEM. Rating: 4/5 Go ahead and judge this book by its cover. That's what I did and thank god I was right. After reading the book, the title, that beautiful cover makes so much sense. At first, I don't really like Meg. But as I read on, I sort of fell in love with her character. And Paul~~~oh, I don't want to spoil you---but Oh Paul! The inter-dimension travel was fascinating. The writing was great, fast-paced. I would love to see this turned into a movie because the way the author described the different settings were pretty awesome. But then, I saw the sequel to Stupid is Forever---and wouldn't it be stupid to buy the first book and not buy the second? Tapos I saw pa this ONLY copy of The Night Circus---how can I resist Celia and Marco? Diba? Ayun ang ending, baka mag-eextend ako mag-fasting. Or makakaquota ako sa exercise dahil maglalakad na lang ako papuntang trabaho. Hahahahaha PS: FINALLY! After all these years, may Laking National card na din ako. Late night, early morning thoughts

It's 1:53 AM and I haven't slept a wink. This is my most vulnerable self speaking. My mind is just so tired right now my controls are slipping and the filters are down and my emotions are taking over. Funny how I find myself thinking of Choi Seung Hyun. The love of my life. He's a member of this Korean boy group Big Bang which is my absolute favorite. So obviously US is never gonna happen. But that doesn't make my feelings unreal or unimportant. They are very much real. There is not a day that passes that I do not think of this namja. Any reference that he might be dating someone makes me devastated. The pain is too real too. Fangirling is such a cute quirk---but if it affects you personally, if it makes it harder for you to establish personal relations with people close to your own sphere then it stops being cute. It starts being a burden to other people. 23 years old and I've never dated anybody. Never even had a fling. Never even had a serious suitor. Nada. Nothing. Friends find it unbelievable. They ask, what is wrong with me? Some would say I'm cute, pretty even, on my better days. They say I'm smart, though I'd like to think I'm witty. I don't kill kittens or puppies for fun, so I'm not a bad person in general. So why can't I snatch a man of my own? People speculate that I might have a very high standard in men. Or that I scare them. Or I reject every single man who tried. Yes. Yes. And no. No, there wasn't anybody to reject to.begin with. There was never a someone who had the courage to look into my eyes and say that they like me. Or maybe nobody ever liked me. That happens. Maybe I'm more of a friend material, a girl-buddy, little sister---the men in my life don't see me as a potential girlfriend. I'm the queen of friend-zoned. Although to be fair I also never fell for my friends. Yes, in a way I think I do scare men. Other women try to make themselves as likeable as possible to new people they meet. I don't. Try despicable. At first I'm awkward. Mostly, they would describe me as snob. That is true. It may take days---or even years for me to get comfortable to anybody and during that warming up period I give off an i-dont-care-about-you-so-fuck-off vibe. Inherently me. Still trying to work on how to be less obnoxious to new acquaintances. I'd usually defend myself and say I don't have high standards. All I want is a man who is smart, funny, and kind. That's all. Partly true. But then Choi Seung Hyun enters the picture and everything has changed. Now, I also want a man who is a reflection of the kind of man that Choi Seung Hyun is. And that is hard. Because there is only one of him in this world. And then there is my penchant for watching Korean Dramas which adds to the misery. Small things are so much more important. Small things are what makes everything better. Damn korean dramas for giving me ideas. So now, I do not just want a smart, funny, kind guy---I also want a quirky, passionate, childish, insightful man like Choi Seung Hyun who happens to be great at doing simple yet sweet gestures often seen in korean dramas. I hope a man like that exist. I may not meet him. I may never found out about him but I hope he is somewhere out there trying to make someone a very happy girl. To the girl who managed to snag this elusive creature, please love him and take care of him---you are holding on to someone's dream. Please appreciate him. Make him happy as much as he makes you happy. You are a lucky person. Do not ever let go.
