BROOKLYN. New York.
Gritty and beautiful, historic and beyond up-to-date, real and imaginary, Brooklyn is a place where dreams are pushed daily, friendships are fierce and culture abounds. And so do cheesy metaphors...I'm sorry. The streets of Brooklyn just hold so many memories and stories, I felt like the map-drawing was 100 layers deep. Each street and grid is home to generation past and present - from the earliest immigrants to the latest hipsters. Brooklyn is beautiful in its colliding grids, dynamic waterfronts and picturesque oases. The map-drawing includes all of the borough and I think it’s the most dense and perhaps the largest area I’ve drawn.
