The Future Buddha, #NubraValley . While on my my ladakh tour, we visited Nubra Valley. As soon as we entered the valley we headed to The Future Buddha and spent some good time there. The statue faces an infinite landscape of the Valley and you can see farms and river as far as you can see (I will upload the landscape on my feed soon). As our so called tourists were takin selfies this was the only angle left for me to shoot, so I shot it. Unimaginable to believe how beautiful how it would look at night with the Milkyway . Yesterday, I was browsing some of my Ladakh and Uttarakhand photos from 2016 and I came across a few that I have not posted since a long time. So I edited this shot yesterday at night and thought of sharing it with you guys. I shot this at Gilbert Hill which is 11,000ft further above Auli. You can see the tallest Himalayan Peaks of #India very closely from here. (at Auli,Uttarakhand,India)

Please Rise for National Anthem. . I am starting with this video because this is how the day at HPS used to start. I had an absolute pleasure serving Himalayan Public School in the #TWSBIndia2018 expedition with @thewalkingschoolbus. Our Mornings at the school used to begin like this with National Anthem, Pledges & Promise for a better education and values for the kids as well as teachers. . I have studied in a local government school that had enough facilities to not complain. Good teachers, decent enough Infrastructure, drinking water (not even purified), a very small canteen that only served Vada Pav and Chatni Pav. The broken benches that we used to sit on and only games we played is Langdi, Throwball, Long Jump, Kabaddi & Kho-Kho. My school just had 15 classrooms for the secondary & higher secondary students. I dont know what conditions many of you here studied but these were mine. At that time knowledge and values were the most important thing for us. Also my school crush but that’s a different story. . Coming to Himalayan Public School. It made me realise that where I studied was a lot lot better place. HPS was a school that barely had 5 classrooms, 1 Library cum Drawing class,1 dusty computer room with only 1 computer that worked (no internet obviously), 1 common washroom that depended on rain water or personal home tanks they build in the mountain homes. The same water was utilised for drinking. Each classroom had approximately 15 benches and a black painted scratched wall as their black board. There were 5 teachers and each choose 3 subjects to teach to kids from Jr KG to 5th grade. The teachers used a tree branch as their yardstick there were many other problems they faced. But the happiness with which the students studied here and the curiosity with which I saw them hearing to the teachers was unmatchable. The respect with which the education and values were exchanged in HPS was the best thing I ever saw in the Expedition. . What were the facilities you think you had while studying in school? I feel so privileged to take this shot. I think after seeing @worthashott’s Blue Vintage Bettle shot at Horniman circle last year I was kinda trying to make a picture wherein I can compose an architectural beauty with a Vintage car. It is a perfect day with some nice outcast in the sky. So basically not sleeping all night and coming to town early morning was worth after this photo. I feel the transition of #Bombay since past 20years has been very slow. The town still remains the same with many unexplored places that capture the vibe of the Heritage city built by British. The huge Castle (Now Bombay High Court) and the Rajabai Tower (Old Mumbai University Campus) are one of my favourite architectural marvels of #Bombay and still remain unexplored by many. So today I went to @papaya_asian for lunch as they invited me to try their new cuisines (dishes ka fancy word). Also, I met my old office colleague @bristi_mondal who set me up on a date an year ago with a girl. So, I paid her off with this lunch date. . . Mummy ne khana nahi diya to review pe aa gaya. #Ameerowalakhana free me khane ka maza hi kuch aur hai. 🤭. . Btw, PaPaYa is the best choice in Mumbai if you want to have Sushi’s 🍣. The most soulful eyes that I ever captured in my life. This is one Portrait that gives me goosebumps every time I see it. A picture that redefined the meaning of Portraits to me.
