OFFICE/MODERN AU!!

I finally finished that so here's the deal. The events take place exactly 200 years later and folks here work as economists, other than that everything's (almost) the same. Also everyone who died in battle or executed because of war now alive and well, maybe just fired/quit their job.

I'm getting all of this from Mackay's dissertation. I just wanted to make a Tumblr post of it since I find info easily digestible in bullet points. Correct me if I mess up on any of this!

The Tempest: though he had a fiery temper, he wasn't one to hold a grudge. He was both brave and quick to anger, which is where his nickname came from

MacKay directly calls him a "young reckless rake" since he enjoyed drinking, gambling(blackjack specifically), women, and other aspects of army camraderie in the camps

Chilvarious and honest; he would take accountability for his actions and act professionally. His education positivel6 influenced his manners

Sought glory and was protective over his military reputation (would lead to jealousy)

Extremely loyal to his friends, and Napoleon as we all know lol

Materialistic; loved "fine wine, books, art, horses, fancy clothes, and architecture"

Vain and proud of it

Artistic; "he could dance, act, and draw", alongside comedy, poetry, performing speeches, and beautiful handwriting

Shared revolutionary ideas; against the church, agreed with the ideas of equality and merit
