I AM IN AN ABUSIVE HOUSE HOLD: i live with my 23 year old sister, my father, and my cat. my dad has bipolar, ptsd and most importantly- UNTREATED SEVERE SCHIZOPHRENIA- nearly EVERYDAY he constantly yells, screams and rambles about the voices in his head, thinking that the hallucinations are the neighbors speaking and targeting him. he constantly accuses me of being in a gang, being a hooker, a slut, ect ect, nearly everything i do, no matter how small, he thinks its SOMEHOW gang related (example, i have a left eyebrow piercing, he thinks thats gang related..) he also threatens CONSTANTLY to turn in a 30 day notice (essentially telling the apartments that we are moving out in 30 days) KNOWING we'd end up homeless.
however, recently, on the 7th, he ASSUALTED MY SISTER and then threatened to press charges on her and me for defending our selves. the cops of course did nothing due to him putting on a little act, saying it was "just a family slap fight" (he smacked her so hard her glasses went flying btw) the days following the attack, he was still insanely hostile and paranoid, even up until tonight, and continues to threaten us with charges for the smallest things, now using that as a crutch.
NOW THE REASON I NEED MONEY: my eldest sister and her boyfriend are planning on getting an apartment soon, but they are still saving, and if they get enough rooms, me and my sister (and our cat) can move in and finally get away from him. HOWEVER- my 23 year old sister doesnt know how to drive, and my eldest sister saving the money may take awhile, so im gonna try and make as MUCH money as i can to contribute so i can finally leave this hell hole and file a restraining order against my dad. i plan on going to college soon, to major in either fashion or art, and he is literally holding me back, he complains about me being shy and having severe anxiety, telling me to "grow up" but when i show even the slightest amount of independence, whether that be hanging out with friends, going on dates or GOING TO COLLEGE, he freaks out and tries to shut me in, in fear of losing the person he THINKS hes able to manipulate, masked as just trying to keep me safe.
