Cypress and Asu don’t get along well due to their very differing views on religion and opposing personalities. Cy finds picking on Asu fun though, and enjoys watching as the captain tries (and fails) to remain cool-headed.

A friend I hadn’t talked to in awhile now finds Cy incredibly hot and ships him with Greed from FMA (non-romantically bc Cy is aro) and it’s so fucking funny to me.

"I was thinking about taking up some mercenary work to entertain myself until we head out again," Leaf replied. Despite helping out on the ship, she wasn't employed by Asu so she didn't have to help if she didn't want to.

She tilted her head to the side with a small frown, "What about you? Have you decided if you're going to stick around or not?" She hoped Florien would decide to stay. They were fun to talk to.

Finally, The East arrived at the city of Biashara in Enchi Nasi. Leaf was quick off the ship. She planned on skipping out on unloading (she wasn't an official part of the crew anyway) and heading straight to the nearest mercenary center to pick up a job while they were at the port. Seeing Florien changed her mind.

She waved up at them. "You coming down or what? Asu already said you're fine to leave, didn't he?"

"Oh. I wasn't expecting you to actually be interested! My books are in the infirmary, under my bed. They're not all that beginner friendly though." He said with a frown and a tilt of his head.

"Wait, you play the lute? Did you bring yours with you?" Cypress questioned. He figured he'd have to convince Florien to play for the crew sometime. They'd love that, especially Leaf.

A "Hi!" and a "Hello" overlapped when Florien walked over. Leaf motioned for them to sit next to her as the spot next to Cypress was occupied by a stack of books. "The food is great today" she said.

"It's as good as usual" Cypress commented. He was nearly finished with his food already. "Or better, I guess, since you added extra salt... Thanks."

“It’s an offshoot, not really It’s own thing. It is unique to the island though.”
